    Do you need a wire leader while trolling like that and what lb test would u recommend?

    • @CaptCollier
      @CaptCollier  2 роки тому +1

      We were using 150lb mono crimped. You’ll get more bites using mono vs wire but also take the chance of losing a 30$ lure if a toothy critter hits it wrong

    • @samjackson2782
      @samjackson2782 2 роки тому +1

      @@CaptCollier just curious what you were using for mainline, topshot, and leader? I'm setting up a couple of trolling rigs to do similar fishing but cant make up my mind on the combo. I have a couple of talica 25s spooled with 80lb braid, thinking i would topshot with 100yds of 80lb mono and then a 80 to 130lb mono windon crimped to the divers.

    Just got a 2021 Sea pro with a 250 Suzuki engine what do you recommend for finding offshore reefs I went out from PCB about 15-20 miles about 85’ deep but it was just flat sand everywhere and didn’t catch anything. So yea I really want to be able to locate wrecks, structure , reefs before heading out

    • @CaptCollier
      @CaptCollier  Рік тому

      Congrats on the boat. You need to get you some upgraded charts that show all the public wrecks/reefs that are out there. They should be on whatever chart plotter you have in the boat. If not, you should be able to find them online somewhere for free
