Clinton Township Explosion - 1 Dead -Building Explosion - 4th Alarm - Full Incident

- Police were advised of a building explosion at 15 Mile and Groesbeck Highway around 9pm on March 4th, 2024. Police on scene reported a fully involved commercial building on fire behind the Burger King. Clinton Township Fire arrived and a second alarm assignment was struck including firefighters from Clinton Township, Warren, Sterling Heights, Chesterfield Township, Harrison Township, Selfridge Air, and Mount Clemens Departments. Medstar was also called as medical standby for the incident.
Macomb County Sheriffs, Clinton Township, Warren and Sterling Heights Police also played crowd control with keeping citizens in the surrounding blocks away from the incident. Dispatchers were overloaded with the hundreds of 911 calls including calls about possible gunshots, explosions, and the smoke.
The County Hazmat team was called to the scene. Explosions causing shrapnel to fly hundreds of feet into the air went on for over an hour. Smoke and explosions could be heard as far away as Troy, Michigan.
19100 15 Mile Road is the given address of the incident in Clinton Township, Michigan. Select Distributors, which makes nitrous oxide tanks, operates out of this large 1-story commercial building. The building appears to be jointly connected with Goo Smoke Shops. Goo Smoke Shop sells N20 Gas Nitrous Oxide tanks and products, along with vapes, cbd products, hookahs, and lighters (according to their website).
Crews made a defensive stance on the fire for well over one hour after making the scene. The fire is under investigation while Firefighters are working to extinguish the blaze.

Unfortunately reports are starting to come out that a firefighter was injured, and a 19yo bystander was killed.

@@rosewetzel8284 I am hearing it as a 4th alarm. Clinton township, Michigan. 1 police car and 1 fire engine damaged. 1 fatality and 1 firefighter injured non serious.

I kinda figured that outfit was sketchy. I don't think business insurance covers "apocalyptic fireworks display," so it'll be interesting if they ever find a cause for this incident. That and if the USCSB will investigate.

Appearantly this place made butane lighters, cbd products, vapes, and other items that uses nitrious oxide.
Bombs bursting in air gave proof through the night that our flag was still there!!!
