This is something you never saw with Barry Bonds or any other static athlete. These words are what separate the Tigers and Jordans from the rest and that is when they show their personal side of life and show they have more than sports and that's what makes them so great. I always loved Tiger and started rooting for him when I was eight and was watching him play in the 1997 masters.
when i watched him win and give the speech at this open i was crying like i did when i watched the movie Radio... Tiger is a real man for openly showing his emotion and not being afraid to
I do know a lot about his family...I made this comment almost 2 years ago and I don't stand by that position anymore. Whatever the reason, he's moved on, he's a good guy now, and I wish him the best.
When he said that his dad would never see it again I have no idea how he didn't cry.. Earl was right, Tiger will never meet someone as mentally tough as him.
I think his dad's death had a lot to do with his infidelity in his marriage. I think if his father never would have died, he wouldn't have done it. After his dad died, he felt he was the greatest thing ever and could get away with everything he wanted to.
@05lowell --As a minority, I teach our young brothers Latin & Blacks, to BE THEIR OWN MEN/WOMEN.. make their own mark... be proud of what they are and their ancestors (not to mention their accomplishments). NEVER PUT WOODS or any other ATHLETE with great men like Dr. King, JFK, Ghandi, Roosevelt, etc... This isn't about going against the grain. This is about 'sheep' that will follow anyone that SI or CNN puts in front of us. Don't need 3 chapters to get that message across.
Tiger made his mistakes he paid for them dearly , it is time for people to move on and let the man get on with his life I can bet you any amount of cash you want that you haters have secrets in the bedroom you wouldn't want to be let out and one day as with Tiger Karma has a way of biting you in the ass remember it before you judge the man
you clearly don't know much about tiger or his family. Tiger's dad cheated on his mother multiple times. That had some influence on his decisions on infidelity
@05lowell A leader comes up with good ideas? Helps his followers?! Are you kidding me? Don't lose sight of the point. Be your own man/woman and do things based on your values/morals and convictions. Leaders are a bad thing if 'sheep' hide behind them and use their "I FOLLOW" bullshit to justify their existence. I'm outta here... follow all you want.
Steve Williams....wow...his life collapsed after this. I feel his pain.
