I'm watching y'all again! Girl, your daddy always washes his mests several times usually with vinegar! Buttermilk adds flavor, and tenderizes the chicken whereas regular milk can't! I like how he double dips and press! This makes an amazingly crispy crust! I don't have a deep fryer yet, but I have a pot like he does. You go Mark, season that flour boy! Look at that wonderful golden crust! Putting it in the oven cooks it through without burning up the crust, especially the bigger pieces! Is that parchment paper? I'll be doing fried wings today. I don't have the exact seasonings that he uses, but it"ll be very highly seasoned too! Great job y'all!

@@sherneyjames6005 you can make a butter milk substitute. 1 whole cup milk mix with 1 table spoon vinegar, mix and let it sit for 10m.

In Canada that festival mixture is available at West Indian Grocery shops and No Frills. You can even add a cup of flour to each package and it still comes out perfect.
Fry then bake! Thank you Deddy! I could never get the “Golden” Chicken because I let it fry too long at too high a heat and the inside of the chicken would have hints of blood, then I’d finish it in the microwave. Problem solved!Crispy and Juicy! Thank you Sir!

Looks delicious I definitely have to try this. I'm American and have a lot Jamaican friends. Sometimes we get together with different dishes on the weekend and they've made that some of my dishes tast better than when they cook it, not sure how much of it is true lol. I'm always trying different dishes some that I've seen on your channel. My eight year old daughter loves my food also or maybe she's just a little greedy. She's always following me around asking questions about what I'm doing when I'm cooking a meal. You two make a good team and have inspired me to teach her how to cook.
