"Touching the neck of the guitar is illegal in many country but socially acceptable in France"
And yess, thoses french bois are neat.
Uncle Ben is would be proud of you
I love how creative Gojira is. They don't sound like any other Heavy metal band out there. One of my fav bands of all time.
I totally agree with you
Got that right *these guys are Out There man!
\m/(>_
This is one of my favorite songs of all time and playing this is a dream of mine ... I hope one day I could be able to play this like you
Keep trying and you will play this song better than me. Good luck!
DAN IEL This song is actually pretty easy if you know how to tap properly. If you keep trying you'll be bound to get it down. If i can give any tips i would say almost pretend you're playing bass with your right hand but on the fretboard instead of above the pickups
Matticus i do play bass myself. Its been a month since i left this comment and i still cant do it. I SUCK AT TAPPING REALLY HARD. I just cant play this song.
i suck at tapping. how exactly does one tap properly?
The song is actually really easy, all you have to do is learn the tapping technique if you practice it for a week tops, youll have it down 100%
That godlike transition at 2:44 thoooo😍😍😍
I’m so mesmerized by the ending of this song. The fade out with the same note repeating and just ending is so, ugh......
It ends on a happy and hopeful tone.
Nice smooth transition when you're ditching the pick at 2:45 man. Very smooth tone changes as well great cover man
Thank you!
MarkTuchin
Ya that was impressive.
Sounds REALLY accurate. Your tone and playing is on fucking point. Loved it
2:44
DUUUUUUUUUUUDE! That was pure fire 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I can play any Gojira song, expect for this one, that double tapping technique kills when you don't have any distortion or gain
thing is, with high gain, it sounds like ass.
I was confused when I saw the tab the first time.
The perfect amount is needed. Enough to make your hammer ons very prominent with out previously plucking the string.
2SICH played it on a classical. \m/
that's funny because i can play this kind of decently but i can't play any other gojira song (except maybe love and unicorn)
That transition around 2:44 was what impressed me the most. I thought I could play the entire song just as well as you until I noticed what you did there. I've been playing metal for 18 years and played in a thrash band, but little things like what you did there are marks of extreme talent and dedication.
hella sweet bro. I just learned this song today and it's cool to play it on my guitar while watching you play it to, it's like we're jamming out.
awesome, bro!
Nice tap technique you got there , well done ! ! !
Thanks!
dude!! how do u even double tap those??? every time i do it, the left hand doesnt even make noise, only the one tapping..
Samuel Gonzalez with every tap with the right hand you have to do a pull-off so the notes you play with the left hand make a sound too you know? Start practicing slowly so you get the tappingtechnique right :)
thanks for the advice brother
George Stamkos I think Good guitar tapping technique is when you to tap notes Loud or Medium Loud and really cleanly. Piano (soft/quiet) guitar tapping does not sound that good to me.
This song is hard as fuck, and its a stamina test!
It’s 1am and I am silently screaming. I love this so much! Can’t even describe how fucking much this song makes me feel and your cover is incredible!!
That tapping technique is mesmerizing
Flawless guitar cover of one of my ever favorite metal songs. Thank you
Amazing job man. Thanks for putting this out there.
I'm speechless... It's awsome!
Blew my mind dude! Nice tapping and beautiful tone... Cheers from Brazil
Those transitions from picking to tapping are so good.
what a gorgeous guitar
Nailed it! Awesome
Absolutely amazing cover
love from India!
You played that very well. Thank you
Cleaaan work, great cover!
This is a great cover! So cool🎶😊
Great work!! 🤙🏻🎸
Great cover man! That pick drop
That right hand work man !! You must be cramping at some point, very strong technique.
Wonderful cover, man.
Very nice!! I manage to play it almost to the end :-) My right hand finger get too painful before the end! Could you, if you have it, upload a video with just your guitar track? I'd love to hear the guitars without anything else. Thanks!
Sorry, but I deleted the record after uploading video (=
No problem! I'll keep practising to play it myself. Thanks anyway!
nice clean cover dude. doesn't seem so complicated watching you do it
Really really solid cover
Great job man. This song is very hard to play clearly without buzzing other stuff here and there. You did great
Отличный кавер!
Hard work ! Well done man
I love it, thank you!
Good job friend, very good sound. c:
I'll try to get better.
Nice cover dude
Nicely played
Thanks for the tip bro, used a pick all my life and wanted to learn this song. I'm going to use your video as reference to teach myself to tap. Five stars
Great job!
Beautiful guitar and well played! Very odd song indeed but I love it . THIS is how dynamics is done

Only clean sound

Fuckin ayyyee!❤ excellent job dude
New sub again nailed it!
Fuckin amazing!
you fucking killed it my man!
Damn you killed it just needs to be louder in the mix. And I would have just chucked that pick on the floor. Great save there😂
Fucking FLAWLESS!! Good job bro
A very nice channel mate! You earned my sub! ^^
May I ask what audio interface you're using?
I use only integrated Realtek sound card and plugins like in this video ua-cam.com/video/L6PHzkPjH7c/v-deo.html
eq and conpressor (fab filter)
That's all )))
Andrey Cherkasov
Thanks for replying man ^^ I'm trying to gather all the information I possible can about recording equipment because I plan to upgrade mine so I'm really curious what else is there ^^
Great cover dude. What do you use to record? Did you go through your computer with a program?
I'm using plugins like in this video ua-cam.com/video/L6PHzkPjH7c/v-deo.html
how do you get the low tone to come trough so clear
EQ solves a lot of problems with sound
+Andrey Cherkasov thank you. you have no idea how much that helps!
Check this

Is it just more practice I need to get the right-handed pull-offs come through more clear? I'm using a pretty basic setup, and I definitely have a lot to learn, but I wonder if it's due to my inexperience or basic setup (I'm using an Ibanez guitar and a Marshall mg10cfx)
your setup is not very important. if you want to get cleaner pull-offs, you need more practice. and don't forget to listen to all of your practice to understand what you are doing right or not in slow tempo.
Thank you for replying! :)
Completely brilliant! Can you tell the tuning? C( sharp)?
I can't pick fast enough for that one part
Nice work!! Which program did you use to record/edit the guitar?
I used nuendo, plugins from this video ua-cam.com/video/L6PHzkPjH7c/v-deo.html . In that time my knowledge about sound recording was poor) Audio recorded without any manipulation with timing, editing etc. Just simple eq.
@@andreycherkasov5644 thanks! And nowadays which program do you normally use?
@@martinj2814 cubase 10
@@andreycherkasov5644 niiice, thanks man :D
How did you mix the low end? The low C overpowers the sound a lot yet your c strings seem so balanced in tonal prevalence
A compressor is made for just that
What is the setup for something like this? Super low action?
even more skilled to give pleasure to women
Nice job. Can you help me to find the backing track?
Omar Biagi what do you mean? the song is Born in Winter, by Gojira, if that's what you meant lol
I was just asking the backing track file to play on. I'm not finding it...
No joke, I will literally pay someone if they can explain how this was done. How do u get the track without the rhythm guitar so u can play the parts? Is this a computer program like pro logic or something? I’m locked up in an apartment with a bunch of guitars and nothing to do. Please, will someone please tell me what I need to acquire to do this with other songs? I’m so desperate to learn or understand that I’ll literally pay someone to explain how people do this. I see countless videos of guys playing along to their favorite jams.... HOW? Please, please someone explain it to me? I will be forever grateful
Hey Andrey! Are you the brother of the arm wrestler oleg cherkasov?
no) just same surname
I feel like my fingers full in flame. God its so hard for to play it! And anyway I haven't a sound!
What i found helpful while learning this song is to relax your tapping hand. Because this is such a unique playing style and your fingers and your hand are not used to this they often cramp up which leads to unnecessary pain that you can avoid by trying to relax your hand, you can do that by resting your thumb on the guitar neck for example. Also alternate between your middle and index finger while tapping. For some reason i tried playing it just with my middle finger the first time, didn't work obviously...
Can our group use this cover in a video?
Yes of course
Andrey Cherkasov Thank you so much!!
akor pls ? very perfect good man \m/
i think you can find it here www.911tabs.com/
how did you get the tone
ua-cam.com/video/L6PHzkPjH7c/v-deo.html
My fingers got so tired
It's an easier song of Gojira to play but man you did a great job ! 🙏
Tab??
+Nysrough I don't have any tabs, but i think you can find it here www.911tabs.com/
Its not a cover if you put the original sound over... -.-
one of their most boring songs
