Hi Jacqui. Just came across your videos and wanted to thank you for being such an inspiration to patients who have been lucky enough to hear your story. I'm at day 8 post surgery for a small tumor (1.2 cm) and was looking for a better understanding of the recovery process. Your upbeat attitude and positive energy has me feeling better already. My surgery was at the Mayo as well (in Jacksonville). I know your doctor in Rochester and the surgeon here in Florida are well acquainted, and in fact co-authored an informative UA-cam video on parotid tumors. Anyway, just wanted to wish you well, and say thanks again for sharing.

I thank you Jackie for your up dates and thank god he is next to you taking care of you and your family now like you said is just taking care of your self and continue with your life take care sending you lots of blessings and love 💗
This is amazing Jorgina! This is a miracle! God is so gracious, and Waldo and I feel blessed everyday to be able to be on this Earth and have our son and live the best life we can! thank you so much for sharing your story, and I'll be praying for your continued health. I believe 99% of what we experience begins in the brain with our thoughts. I told myself on day 1 that I was not going to have symptoms, and I truly believed it....it was a miracle for sure, but I think "the higher power" is watching and helping and caring! We don't understand all that happens in this world, but we choose to be grateful everyday for the life we have, and we CHOOSE happiness! Be blessed, and have a wonderful day! You deserve it!
Hey Jacqui. Just found you and wanted to say I really appreciate these videos. Had my total parotidectomy in May and just completed week one of proton radiation for my parotid carcinoma. I’m hoping I have an experience similar to yours from a side effect perspective. Did you ever manage to post a picture of what the burn looked like prior to healing?
I will try to find one. It basically looked like a bad sunburn. I'm so glad that you are done the surgery and on the road to healing. Remember, just one day at the time. You got this!
I have recently had a parotidectomy and now I'm going to start radiation therapy. I would love to see your journey on your blog. Is it still available?
I apologize, I realize this is an older video but I had a question for you. did you have any issues with your teeth or bones? that is a huge concern for me. I hope you are well

Hi recently iam going for radiation therapy for paratoid carcenoma, anything to fear
Most important thing is to stay positive, keep moving, whole food diet, lemon water and an amazing doctor team. Who did your surgery?
I apologize, I realize this is an older video but I had a question for you. did you have any issues with your teeth or bones? that is a huge concern for me. I hope you are well
no really but i have to be careful more careful with my teeth and go to check ups every year
Why did you get second surgery?
in the first surgery they spill the tumor and 10 year latter Jacqui have over 100 new tumors...
Was benign pleomorphic adenoma called cancer?
