Yamaha R1M is TUNED & RIDE READY + Panigale V4 SP2 News! | R1M Series Part 5 | Motomillion

- Our brand new Yamaha R1M is finally getting ready to ride on the streets!
After the WSBK Exhaust and Velocity Stack upgrades, we needed to get a tune on the bike and BrenTune came through for us! All the errors codes and restrictions are gone, and the R1M runs like a monster now.
However, the tune was not the only thing needed to get it ride-ready. We also got the NRC Tail tidy and Dieci83 radiator and oil cooler guards installed. The tail tidy is more of a cosmetic mod, but the best option out there because of how visible the signals are.
The radiator and oil cooler guards are an absolute necessity, because we will not ride ANY bike that does not have these installed. It avoids the nightmare scenario of hitting your radiator or oil cooler with a rock and puncturing either. We highly recommend getting these for your bike, no matter what year, make or model.
AND the party piece, we got a full carbon fiber race belly pan installed to give the R1M the finished look! We had to run a race belly pan because the WSBK full titanium exhaust does not allow us to use the Fullsix carbon belly pan, but for all you guys running full exhaust systems, the Fullsix carbon fiber belly pans are officially in stock! (We prefer these anyway).
What do you think of those flames shooting out of the exhaust? 👀

Love how you do your own work on bikes .It shows the true love and passion for sportbikes and modding them out. I’m the same way. Great video
I called Motomillion a few days ago with a few questions about my new Ducati carbon full six fitment. Manny answered and was super helpful! Customer for life
Really happy to hear this!
I love the things you’re doing to this awesome machine. I can’t wait to see the dyno results!!!
Thank you!
With this amount of mod you should have a custom ecu map. With o2 reading. This doesn’t extract the full potential of the bike. You dia everything correctly and awesome, this doesn’t Makes sens.
Lookout for the next videos. Its exactly what we are planning !
But the O2 sensors were removed!
@@fredarias8524 you can read It from the exhaust hole, but It isnt optimum.
The best thing Is to add a hole.
Great that you know how to fit the special parts, gives you a fantastic insight into fitment/quality 👍
I Really respect the love and passion you have for details on this amazing Yamaha r1m.
Thank you for the support! We absolutely love the R1s
Love this video series. Your love for the bike comes through. I also love the comment on being considerate of other drivers (the turn signals).
Thank you!
Totally agree about the integrated rear turn signals Mani. Car drivers seem to find bikes invisible with all lights showing let alone when they can't see any 👍🏻
Thank you Luke!
If I wanted to keep it simple and avoid any Italian bs, I'd be going R1 for sure.., but since I have a high tolerance for Italian "character", it's SP2 for me every time!
Loving this build and looking forward to all the v4 SP2 content you bring!
The Panigale V4 is a huge leap forward from previous Ducati's in terms of reliability and usability.
Pulling the Trigger, will be communicating with Hector ASAP!
Nice content manny very will thumbs up for u
Much appreciated
wow i love what you done to it , to my taste just the exauts tip i prefert shortys to long can , cant wait to see the full6 belly bro , @+¥ very nice project
Looking forward for the nextone
Whats good Manny! Binge watching your channel today. The R1M build is so sick, and coming along nicely. Btw, you called it, my Akrapović headers and mid pipe fit perfectly with the SC Project slip on. It sounds incredible and runs even better. Just mounted my first set of Domino grips with HighSider lever protectors and the feel is prefect. Keep building that fire bro. Big time inspiration for us over here.
Awesome! Thank you!
I can't wait for the V4SP2 build. I absolutely love that bike.
Us neither! Look out for the new content coming soon!
Great content!! Would love to do this for a living!!
Thank you!
15:18 Motul 300V - best oil on the planet period. All I use on my 3 motorcycles.
damn love those flames💯
We love it too 🔥🔥
BEAUTIFUL THIS PLOW LOOKS YAMAHA R1M....👌💙😉🏍💨
Thank you!
Ouch on the Oil Filter. Gotta use aluminum foil brother to keep it mess free 🙂 Always great videos!
That oil filter was such a pain to remove
Even after the ECU flash it still has a flat spot at 24:50 and it is the main reason I am not buying the R1 anymore. Otherwise, nice build.
Thank you. Thats the velocity stack switch over point that you are referring to.
@@Motomillion Is there any way to fix it?
Gorgeous bike!! 👌
Thank you! It really is!
@@Motomillion love your videos from the uk. I currently own a 2017 r6 , torn between a panigale v4 andr 1n for my next bike in a year or so , think the r1m is my favourite now
very beautifull bike brother
Thanks ✌️
Many, beautiful bike
Thank you!
I would take that r1m over everything else thats on the market right now, what a beast
They are wonderful machines.
Your desktop icons make me want to cry!
😂
Very nice
Thanks
My bike is covered with oggy knobs / frame sliders. Prevented expensive damage when the front end let go in a corner.
Mani, you snuck that Full Six belly pan in...just placed an order for it.
Thank you!
I love this bike. The most beautiful Japanese motorcycle😈
Lesssgggo my G!
Lets go! 🔥
Are you going to change the brake calipers or you gonna keep the stock ones?
I like the way you tell about how the bike should be done sir. Really inspired from you sir.
We are changing the brakes! Stay tuned. Its in the works as we speak. And thank you for the support 🙏 glad we could provide value to you guys
Get blaster X twilight with integrated signals. It’s the brightest. Wayyy brighter than Jl
We do sell the Blaster X but on our own bike we would rather run the NRC fender eliminator for the reasons we listed on the video.
What is Sp2 ?
Amazing video by the way , as always.. i wish to see this bike in darkest black paint , like the real BLACK , telling this as you said you will do a paint scheme..
Panigale V4 SP2! You'll see videos on it very soon 😉
We'll be showing ideas for the paint scheme when we plan it all out! Black sounds mean 🔥
🔥🔥
🔥🙌
you should not block off the breather ports what you reallly need to do is install a catch can so your motor will breathe better and on the tech side of that it will run better
Just curious as to why you're not getting a custom tune on a Dyno with such an exclusive exhaust? Big thumbs up though Mani, living the dream out there 👍.
What makes you say we are not? Brendan is going to supply us remote tuning with this bike. We will obviously post all the updates soon!
@@Motomillion Ahh, okay. I should've known better 😂 lol.
So does the rear foot peg replacement piece come with the full exhaust along with the carbon belly?
Yes it does.
So is the BrenTune just to get you going (because it will be stupid lean after the exhaust changes).. and then the tune will be fully customized at each RPM range whilst on the Dyno?
Yes, its to get it started, and were going to need to be adjusting it to get the correct AFR since the WSBK setup is unique
Love tu see SUTER SWINGARM & MARCHESINI WHEELS ATTACH TO THIS BIKE 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
Wheels will be changing, but suter swingarm might be a bit too much for the street.
@@Motomillion Wsbk Exhaust cost almost the same lol 😅
That desktop is filled with shortcuts ..😬
Yeah it is 😂
Are you going to run this on the track? 300v is track oil only it’s missing all the detergents to clean and make it last
It’s good for 600 miles
Directly from Motul.
"300V can be used on the street but it’s really designed for racing. 300V has double ester meaning Motul has used 2 types of esters in its formula - 1 to be used for friction reduction and 1 for extreme pressures. 300V has less detergents and dispersants vs. 7100 because they’re replaced that with extreme pressure additives for built engines. 300V is not API rated because it’s a racing oil and they assume that on a racing bike, you’re going to be pulling off your catalytic converters and O2 sensors.
"The reason is largely due to the difference between the two products. The 300v is a high performance oil. It’s made to protect and also to free up horsepower. If you put the Motul 300v 15w50 on a chart against other oils, it would be at the lower end of the scale (meaning it’s thinner, more “slippery” and performance-oriented, due to the Ester technology and such). Conversely, the 7100 oil, when compared with similar oils would be in the middle, or higher end of the spectrum - a little thicker, more durability, etc. The 7100 is best-suited for street riding. The 300v oil would still perform well in this case, but you’ll find you may consume slightly more oil, and that you would want to change your oil a more frequently. It’s really just a trade-off between performance vs. maintenance."
Nice haircut miami mani
Thank you sir 🙌
that I missed my R1M, I never saw him again, that's why it was my R1M, I warmed up the engine and someone riding in tandem took my bike, unfortunately, we never found it again, what a sad life, it took me a while to collect it and then that's all you can get
Sorry to hear that.
I want you to review yamaha r1m 2022 like Yamaha r1m 2021 that you have reviewed and walked around. I like it please.
We will definitely make a walkaround video!
@@Motomillion thank you very much
Where can I get one of those drain plug?
We have them on our website!
www.motomillion.com/search?q=oil+drain+plug
What velocity stacks did you go with?
We are using a 3D printed replica of the WSBK velocity stacks!
www.motomillion.com/collections/yamaha-r1/products/wsbk-reproduction-upper-and-lower-velocity-stack-kit-yamaha-r1-r1m?variant=40065675558978
Iam still on the hunt for that WSBK exhaust, is it discontinued for the R1's and M's?
Send us an email through the contact us section of our site. We can get it for you.
@@Motomillion thank you 👍🏾
Did you remove the baffle?
Yes the dB killer has been removed
It would look way better if it is fitted with underslung double sided swing arm
Hard to justify the cost only for looks.
@@Motomillion yes indeed. Anyways, your build looks really cool though. Great work!
Rsv4 series please
Tune into @650ib's channel, until we get it.
R1 is bike lots of boys love, but it's hard to buy for a short people. please try to sit a guy who is 5.3 or 5.5
Will he be able to reach the ground
Don't even try the new Panigale V4, they are even higher.
Mani what belly pan is that?
The one that comes with the WSBK exhaust system as an option.
Fullsix has a very similar and even a nicer belly pan : www.motomillion.com/collections/yamaha-r1/products/fullsix-carbon-fiber-racing-belly-pan-for-yamaha-r1m-2020-2022
@@Motomillion thank you for your reply manny. Currently i’m running the same exhaust however the bellypan didn’t come with the option. Do you have the bellypan in sale?
Why 300V...to change it every 1000km?
The bike does not get ridden that much, and because we prefer the 300V.
@@Motomillion ok, because its race oil, and people screw engine with it on normal use on street.
Alright...we take back that the WSBK system wasn't loud enough! 😅
EDIT: I also sniff test motor oils. I'm glad I'm not the only one. 😆
Great minds think a like!
Nic3
Thank you.
And get those side mirrors hahaa looks bad
