no one would ever agree, but this movie is seriously underrated, the way that it's able to grab your heart and make you cry tears of sadness and joy at the same time is .... it just doesn't happen...so rare.
Different things touch different people in many ways. This movie touched me in so many ways. The mom/daughter relationship, the spoiled but nice rich girl being humbled, the sad little girl that didn’t want to let anyone in - all very powerful. Then add Brittany Murphy’s way too early passing to it. This movie gets to me every time. And I have watched it a lot!
The fact that Neal was the one who bought all the guitars and then did this for Molly is literally so heartwarming and touching, I love their relationship so much!
It was definitely Neal since Molly told him to stop being selfish and by his reaction you could tell it stuck with him. He must’ve known about the auction and the ballet recital because of Huey.

I could agree with this, but I could also say life has its own purpose even when it's good or bad, and in this case of when life's own purpose is bad, it can turn out to be a good thing but only at the end before it starts with a whole new beginning.
