I wish I knew how to do all this.!!! I paid a shop 14k. To have mine painted... and I broke it all down and put everything back together after she was all painted....

Its the hourly labor costs that gets ya.
Just curious why you covered the entire hood. Isn’t that product only to fill low spots?
The hood had two paint jobs on it, had to be ground down to metal and had a few dents. Laid gold filler on, sanded, repeat several times, then glazed and sanded a few times for pinholes, the filler primer and sanded. Then primed and paint. 90 % of everything put on gets sanded off.
Mitch what makes tac work doing cluster swap...don't get it.

There is a wire on the coil that makes it work. It's yellow or blue, usually hooked up by default. The cluster swap is plug n play.

Is this wire part of one of the 3 plugs or do I run this wire up from your coil to a connection on the cluster?
Guessing all harnesses have tach wire incorporated into all including non tach model clusters...right?
Any chance you'd have access to a condenser ...none available ?

@@williamvictory2009 On the condenser, I tried 3x with RockAuto and they kept shipping one that doesnt fit our trucks I told them, but they dont care. Find one on eBay, or Junkyard and clean it inside and out. On the tach. the trucks are wired to accept a cluster with tach, its all wired already. For years I ran an external suntach or sundial brand tach mounted to the dash and ran a wire to the coil area and connected it Cant recall which one, but without doing all that a tach cluster will work as soon as its installed and plugged up. If it doesnt. It may be the cluster.
