I know what you mean. I was reading the comments, and was blown away by all the UA-cam certified experts that came running to his channel to tell him that he did it wrong. First of all, this ain’t DP’s first rodeo. Secondly, he didn’t film this yesterday. Thirdly, you don’t know what you’re talking about, so do like I do: sit here and watch the video and just drink your morning beverage of choice and shut up.
Mike, Aaron, and Jerry the dream team, I do love the dam jobs you start with a touch of confusion then a lot of O I think I can see what is going on, then a whole load of ah that dam is going to look beautiful, well done team for bringing us lot along, sure makes my day Mike and a big thank you for that. Jim from Scotland
@koomencontracting Lol. Some people have a hard time getting their head around that. Maybe they it'll cost them money or send all their info straight to the NSA or something😅
I can only imagine how much dirt would be moved if the dam was further down the hill to meet the proper elevation! Would almost be double the height. I think I understand now why the dam is in its current location. It almost seems like having two haul trucks would be more productive. Two-man team loading and hauling tag team style. Jerry can handle all of the dozer work all by himself!
Need to run both trucks, put Bubba Dump on one side of the cut and the new truck on the other, Aaron would have to switch back and forth, the cussing would be hilarious…LOL
That's what I'm talking about! I can't remember if his sons name is Gunner or Gunter, so no disrespect intended. But surly Mike can get his son to hang out with him and drive Bubba Dump. Then Mike will have TWO little people driving articulating trucks. That would be awesome! Lol
Nice warm weather video on a cold December morning sorry about that being short but now Mike you know what Aaron feels like all day short but Aaron is the little big man great video thanks Mike and Aaron and Jerry
That amount of dirt needed , I can’t imagine how it will look anyway natural ,just a big crater hole with high sides all pushed up .looking forward to see it completed
When I saw Aaron walking down the dam at the start of the video with arms fully extended and holding the bottom of the stick, I was thinking, at least he’s not 6’6” tall with arms fully extended, it would have doubled what you needed to haul at that point, just a silver lining of sorts. It’s a bit of a bummer to need that much more dirt but if I remember correctly, you were kind of sketchy on dirt availability at the start. I will say this, it will be done right when it’s finished and there will be no looking back, looks great gentlemen, thanks for the update, enjoying the series.
Great video DP and MBTS. Nothing is easy in this business. But it is going g to be Beautiful when you get it done. It will get there. Can't wait for the next video.
Good morning from chilly Minnesota! Great video! That dam project looks like it is gonna be a beast! Good thing you’ve got the right equipment and crew to get it done!
Just like the last pond job he mentioned “ I got a bigger bucket for the 140” not sure if that means he’s keeping them or just treating them as if they was his till he returns them
I remember back in early 2000s we did a mine reclamation project I spent 12 hours a day in a cat d400 haul truck just hauling and hauling for like 3 months straight. I wish I had that hyundai haul truck
I was surprised you were 4ft off based on how you ended the other video, but laser levels do not lie and glad you found more good dirt! Another good video, thank you Mike,Jerry & Aaron !!!
Well, actually, laser levels do occasionally lie. Trust me on this. Once in a blue moon, if you don't set it up right, she will spend the whole day lying to you. I just sharing what a friend told me, of course lol
@@gmanley582 I was assumed DP & MBTS were smart enough to set the laser up right, and so far after all their projects I have no evidence they cannot not 😊 I appreciate your reply, hope you enjoy the videos as much as me !!!

Dang! I thought you were closer than 200 more loads! That's insane. Jerry is quick about keeping things cleaned up for you! Such a huge project for 3 guys!

That's going be a really big dam. I just have a hard time seeing where all the water is coming from to fill it and keep it full. Best I can see is that it will depend on rain run off. Of course it isn't easy to see the whole lay of the land with these videos.
I think you need to create magnetic Dirt Perfect stickers to put up on your loaner machines you get 🤔🤩👍🏻

A magnificent job done in this session by you and Aaron, and helped by the superb Jerry, what a man,

For more dirt just take the 210 and the haul truck down inside of that and take it deeper till you hit the hard pan
As always guys this video made for great viewing, handy having needed dirt so close by bro. Safe travels y'all. Ken.
That back slope is going to make a dandy snow slide this winter when it snows!
That was my thought too.
Loved the time-lapse cloud formations at the 27 minute mark.
Good to see Jerry out there. Love to see that big cedar tree stump in the pond. That would last a long time. Awesomeness as always

Jerry would push that dirt faster with the 850 J . The hyundai does a nice job though for a smaller dozer it will push .
When they give you a fancy machine to demo, you gotta use it…or park it way up on top of a pile of dirt 😂
Jerry was pushing the topsoil off the next cut.

Hello men. Another beautiful day and great job❤
Have you thought about a water truck to keep the dust down and add a little moisture to your dirt?
Mike, you know it's Aaron's fault the dam is low. Because he wants to keep driving the new truck, and he doesn't want to give it back. Lol
Man that is going to be a deep hole
Put in a sledding ditch path which also gives a control run off. Not overflow of the damn but access to mow and maintenance since it so steep
Good morning!
