All your hard work on the VGG Independence paid off! He literally burned the wheels off of it! Your run on 5 cylinders was also very impressive, especially when you took the steering wheel off! Bravo!
@@johnsnow1355 I guess you would rather have him slam fully out of control into the wall? How about you build a burnout car, get out there and do what he did... I've got say the 5 cylinder burnout without the steering wheel was impressive! Blowing both tires and bouncing it off all the walls were spectacular... The work that you did on the on Independence Chevelle put him on top!
Jesus! Derek and ol Independence put some smoke out there that was epic! The exhaust definitely did its job except like everyone knows it does create a good tire fire! Lol
As someone that was at the show I appreciate you ripping that unit on 5 cylinders. Also would like to thank you for your work on Independence so a guy has a proper burn out machine for us fans.
Dam hell of a burnout for 5 cyls, and independence ripping it up, best burnout yet from derek and independence! Great job kevin fir getting it set up so great! Luv it!!!!
Simply Amazing, can't believe the burnout you did on only 5 pots!!!! Wish we could have seen Derek's face when he popped the tyres finally on Independence, that's all he's ever wanted to do! Can't wait to see you guys colab again. Keep it up Kev👍👍👍👍👍
A tip in the extra capacity water tank: Drill 4 holes, 2 on top of each other about 2 inches apart. Then weld a stainless pipe right through each side. That allows airflow through the pipe and act as a mini heat exchanger and help to reduce water temp by contact area with the outer surface of the stainless pipe. It will flow cool air automatically due to convection. And reduce tank temp without any pump or fan. You can easily add extra 2 pipes or more and monitor the situation. In colder weather you simply plug the ends of the pipe with a rubber grommet each side to keep engine on temp and remove grommets in hotter weather. As a make a plan wanna be racer from the 70's we never had all the equipment available today and had to be very creative..... Just a thought for you to mull over... Keep on keeping on Heads up Eyes open No fear
@Mike yes I would say nothing smaller than say 15 mm or so 1 inch is 25mm If you can get aluminium piping it would be easy to weld to the tank If the tank is stainless steel, use stainless pipes If aluminium tank, use aluminium pipes We used heat exchangers all the time in the chemical plants Larger dia pipes obviously, but it greatly increases your surface area exposed to cooling air You really only making an air to air inter cooler in its simplest form Cost efficient, easy and effective
I was thinking a heat sink grill to keep anyone from accidentally putting their hand on such an inviting place to prop themselves while reaching into the engine compartment.
My daughter and nephews had a blast meeting you guys on Saturday, I believe you and Drew made some new fans! Thank you for helping make their weekend better
Kevin you do great work!!! on all the stuff you've built. love to see you helping Derek dial in independence!!!. she ran a fierce burnout!!!! not to bad with the 5 cylinder you ended up running.
I believe i had followed VGG before he started association with KSR Gainesville. Of course, discovering KSR with the planned jet camino cancelling. Derek knows what rocks to step on, in the crick!(creek)
@Mike I'm Cajun born. He made perfect sense to me, from first vidya, + he Names things the way i do. I have used sparkolators since 1975 on my Honda CB125s. 1300 miles. 1block at a time. Next to the railroad tracks. Hell Yeah Brother!
That's awesome Kevin! Those recyclables never had a chance, even on 5! What you did to Independence is nothing short of perfection! I love how the smokes just flies out the back end like a scalded coyote. She sounds sooooo badass now. I imagine Derek was just all smiles the entire time. Well done sir!
Great freaking job Kevin. The fact that you run a successful business, have a family and still manage to do things like Cleetus and Cars never ceases to amaze me. Excellent car control with the wheel out the window Kevin! That was awesome. And great job on Independence. I'm sure a fella is quite satisfied with it.
What an amazing event and I'm both very proud and happy for all involved. Great job on only 5 cylinders but holy hell I couldn't even see Independence, talk about tire smoke and the flare ups just added to the overall performance. I bet when Derek turned it loose and came into the pad his mind was blown that baby done a cyclone and imploded into a massive cloud of smoke completely lost him y’all built a couple bad ass burnout cars you demolished the pad on your run it was epic👍🇺🇸

Fantastic run Kevin.. Running on 5 cylinders.. No Problem.. And Derek's eyes got big when he step on that Go Pedal.. You did some fantastic work on Independence that's for sure.. Great show.. Keeper up..

Hey Kevin! Big fan here!!! I saw you mention it was difficult moving stuff in and out the trailer. I habe a simpler way but it will require you to buy some new, plastic shelves.
