Just bought the GM1 few weeks ago and today is my last day to return it. So glad cause ima be getting this. Seems like every other week Sony dropping some new heat 🤔🔥 dope video
Another banger video from the camera doctor
Your content draws me in bro idk what it is but "Tech" from a brother occasionally aint a bad thing no cap lol
Keep being GREAT brotha!
Instant cop! Gimbal ready. The minimum focus distance was a cherry on top. I really just wanted to lessen the weight and length for the rs3
Really useful view and informative, thank you.
Smaller and lighter is def a plus! Great video man! I am rocking the V1. Not sure it would be worth a trade-up just yet but maybe get this lens for my B-Cam. Great job, I like the longer form video and in-depth dive into it! This is def not just an ad video!
What setup (lens/aperture) did you use for the talking head part? Looks good. Do you shoot in Slog3? Thanks.
Great video Terry, can you tell me do you shoot on the Movie dial or the M dial for video?
Great review! Wish i waited before getting 24mm gm
Outstanding review! Sony is going to make me go broke.😂 Assuming I can acquire this lens before 10/5, it's a must have for my UT trip.
I have the OG version and very happy with it. This looks like a great update and I’d probably purchase it if I didn’t already own the version I. I think I may instead invest in the PZ 16-35 for hiking and traveling light. Great review Terry, thanks for you honest opinions and engaging video.
That’s exactly what I did and it’s awesome
How is this with lowlight? Or even night photography?
Wow…that’s a tempting lens to get.
Love the Terry reviews.
Just got mine for my r5, very awesome lense
I appreciate you because although I won't be switching to Sony, at least not any time soon, I always feel in the loop on their cameras.
Got the original 16-35. Besides being smaller/lighter (which i REALLY want by the way. I got this paired with an A7C for a small form factor) i cant see dropping more money to buy the version 2 if my OG lens still hits! Now if i can find someone to buy mine for full price then.......all bets are off lol!
I like that Sony lenses are light compared to Nikon and Canon. Makes it easy to pick it up whenever I feel like shooting.
Head up, your links won't open to the A7CII or 16-35 GM II Lens (the ones labeled pre-order).
I need this now.
I’m always on and off about Photography and buy and sellmy gear like crazy. I’ve never owned a 16 to 35 GM I usually shoot primes my question would be would it be smarter to invest in the 20 mm 1.8 35 1.4 GM for $800 cheaper. And seeing that I wouldn’t use the 16 mm and that often just grab a Viltrox 16 1.8 for 500? As she portrait, photography and travel photography.
What breed is your dog?
Investing in Sony's gm ii which is 10% smaller is ridiculous. Now if it was 60% that would be amazing!
Sitting here with my 16-35 f4 pz within my return window wondering if I should return and upgrade to the 2.8 lol 🙃
I still love the PZ. It’s my main walk around lens right now. The easy zoom and compact size are great tradeoffs
really seems like a beautiful & tempting lens but think i’m going to stay with my PZ f4 lens paired with the zve1 if I was in a pinch for light at least the 12,800 dual iso could save me..
I'm currently using this 16-35 pz lens and I love it. The new 16-35mm GM II lens is indeed good, but I find it not very sensible to invest in an overpriced lens for just a 10% difference in size . Before this, I had a 14mm f/2.8 lens that I always used at f/8. So, if I can get a smaller, compact lens in the 16-35mm range, especially at f/4, it would be the best option for me.
@@ayansinghh loving my pz as well. The size and the power zoom make it hard to let go, even for an f2.8
I’m sticking with the pz. If 16-35 were my main lens I might switch up, but I only use the 16-35 for landscape and the tiny bit of video I do, neither of which I need f2.8 for
it's gone from OG to GM and is probably too much for me but it's goated for sure
O, that's nice.
GANSTA MODE KILLA
If you leave me locked up in a cage, I would be a little cranky too. Find that dog a loving home!
He’s only in the cage when he misbehaves. I don’t believe in animal cruelty of any sort
@@TerryWarfield how about we put you in a cage?
Man I wish Sony would get rid of the silver eyelets and dangling rings on all of their cameras. They look so bad. Sony cameras = Tesla interiors (sensor, processors, battery, etc) and 1985 TransAm exteriors (plastic bodies, pleather grips, 1985 LCD screens, menu fonts, and dangling rings). I just don't get it. Sony makes some of the nicest phones, TV's and tech in general, including camera sensors and processors, yet they can't figure out camera bodies and parts. Makes no sense.
I honestly desire Canon R cameras for the strap mounts. No joke.
