I don't know if you haven't read it yet, but in the manga it gives much more importance and symbolism in the parts where Nami is placed, an example is chapter 1013 in the manga, it's one of my favorites but in the anime they took it away the emotion (in my opinion)

Not only was her Mother murdered in Cold blood after a harsh argument, but Nami and her whole Island were completely dominated and focused to work under that same murderer. All while Nami had to work herself to death for that same person just to keep everybody on the island alive. That's cruel af son.
everyone brook loved died and he was left alone for 50 years, which is half of a normal life, and law also had everyone killed around him, and was rejected by society for having a disease that he couldn’t control, and forced to live on his own, and then corazon died, the one person that he could trust after a long time. yes, namis backstory is sad but law definitely has the saddest backstory

Nami’s “mom” died in front of her, but at least she was always there with her until then. Robin’s mom was NEVER present until the very end, and even then she (briefly) denied being her mom.
I wish I were dead. I hate my life. I had never a childhood. Constantly moody and unsatisfied and now I need to be a martyr. Why me? I just want a normal life. When I look back my best times in my life was when I watched one piece , naruto , Detektiv conan, pokemon. I have constantly headache and I am the scapegoat, black sheep of the family. And I am only living for survival , food and sleep. But I have already chronic fatique and sleeping disorders and no motivation to live. I hate this shit world. I just wish I was never born. But I am glad that I found little bit happiness in my life in a anime -> one piece. But when I am thinking that is not real life and only an anime and all the wonder and adventure are only fiction and not real, it makes me sad.
