When I was an Altar boy, I remember processing around the Church chanting the Pange Lingua as the priest was carrying Jesus in the Most Blessed Sacrament , under a canopy, while other Altar boys were holding lighted candles as they surrounded the priest. What a beautiful spiritual memory and cherished grace filled experience that I will never forget. Thank you for keeping this sacred tradition alive with the Gregorian Chant! 🙏Deo Gratias!🙏
I live in Italy and have been to Norica many times, and I would hear the monks singing in Gregorian Chants. It is breathtaking. I would go there many times before the devastating earthquake. I have friends that are nuns and monks and I had to write to them to make sure they were fine because I was scared that theyperished. I am a consecrated woman, that will eventually become a nun. Prayers please.
Simply sublime! Let every knee bow and every tongue confess the True Presence of Jesus Christ in the Most Blessed Sacrament of the altar. It pains me to see people treat the Eucharist with so much irreverence. I offer this half-hour in reparation for all the sacrileges and profanations committed against the Eucharistic Heart of Jesus.

I agree. There is so much disrespect for the Sacred Eucharist today that it makes me feel very sad that Catholics don’t understand they are receiving the Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ. They don’t believe in the True Presence of Jesus in the Most Blessed Sacrament! ❤️✝️❤️

Well, God is not particularly fond of noise. God loves order, suavity, melody. See, for instance, this excerpt from the Book of Kings: "And he said to him: Go forth, and stand upon the mount before the Lord: and behold the Lord passeth, and a great and strong wind before the Lord over throwing the mountains, and breaking the rocks in pieces: the Lord is not in the wind, and after the wind an earthquake: the Lord is not in the earthquake. 12 And after the earthquake a fire: the Lord is not in the fire, and after the fire a whistling of a gentle air. 13 And when Elias heard it, he covered his face with his mantle." (I Kings 19:11-13). Noise belongs to the devil, not to God.
Not sure what you mean by original version... The SSPX did not write these chants. These are renditions of traditional Gregorian Chants taken from Benedictine and Carmelite Hymnals. Renditions may vary but the chant is the same.
Yes. A few of these chants were released as a CD way back in the late 90's, but were only in circulation in a few countries. Not sure if they're still available for sale.
