Excellent clip to put up next sir! I've listened to the original clip one and a half times and have always wanted to listen to it again but Greg was so unbelievably fucking enraging with his need to be a part of it by trying to be a referee that I've never been able to go back and appreciate the comedy and the drama between these two greats. You have some good karma headed your way👍

"... crud and residue ..." I love it. Opie's radio career summed up as crud and residue. That might be the best description of it. Look at his podcast, extremely cruddy and he is visibley covered in residue.
all jokes aside these videos are the best thing to happen to the o&a community since ope spazzed out in the street trying to get joe rogan on his podcast, NO&A Radio baby lets spread the word
I like the little additions at the end with Opie ruining stuff. You do such a good job with these edits it's very, very easy to forget that there was once a guy ruining most of this stuff. It's a good "after credits" idea sort of like the way Cinemasins end their videos. Keep up the amazing work erasing this non contributor.
Opie was great. The amazing diva act, the delusional mind, the ignorance, the pouting, not getting the joke, his wanting to be liked, him being an asshole, his creating tension and drama out of thin air, and on and on..Great radio
Tough Crowd was special. It will also never be replicated. It was in someways, a comment section before social media. It revealed the beauty of being ruthless and evisceration a sub genre of comedy as a freestyle and along with O&A, both were the dens of the LEGEND that was Patrice the Authentic of Authenticity O'Neal. They were Murderers Row and these guys all could knock it out to all fields in all situations but, they played to feed the bear. Patrice was Babe Ruth. I saw Patrice at Mohegan on the Virus Tour and he was great don't get me wrong. The charisma and the stage presence. He got a massive pop. He was doing those mid 00's "Angry Pirate", "Donkey Punch", "Marlin" sexually explicit cartoonish scenarios jokes. His deliveries all killed. Rich Vos in my opinion was the killer of all the killers that night. His set murdered and his crowd work was the funniest shit. He saw a black guy/white girl couple having a good time. They stood up to go piss or something and he starts in on them. He says do you to live together? The black guy goes, "yeah we do." The white girl is mesmerized like the rest of them. Dingie dumb bitch all bubbly goes all excited, "OMG! We are here celebrating our closing! We just bought a brand new house!" Vos asks, with a huge grin, "That's great. Good for you sweetheart. Are you two married?" The girl is suddenly less bubbly and the guy goes, "We good we doin' our thing. We are celebrating our new house." Vos was a sidewinder closing fast on rhymes with MiG. He asks, "Who took out the loan? Which one of you got the loan for your new home?" The couple now wants to just run away and you can tell. It's tense af. Vos grinning like a shark. Vos breaks that tension and goes, in his black code switch, "GOT ME A MUTHAFUCKIN' CO-SIGNER BITCH!!!" The entire Sun Arena howled. It killed as hard as any of anyone's best jokes that night. Aaaah. These were truly some magical days of a great time gone by. I was a 26 year old kid. I won a few hundred bucks playing black jack with a great friend and my brother. I don't talk to either anymore. Fuck. Vos' racist joke got me all sentimental. Anyways. RIP Patrice. Dia-beat-the shit outta you. You did go out pure as you came roaring in and you were never full of shit. It seems as though you shaped Metzger as well. That dude is fried and in a great way with the score kept on shit in detail.
I have been, for years, defending Opie in the OnA show. Not because I liked him but because he was the O in OnA. That they needed him, that he's part of the magic. This Channel has proved me, unequivocally, wrong. When he played those little Opie bits at the end, I got angry. I got angry at myself for thinking that the show needed Opie after they went to Satellite. To be fair, to myself, he wasn't this horrible the first 2 years into XM.
