And thats why Black Bull in GX is my favourite rendition, all the other ones are crap, I don't like it in X and the GBA games of Black Bull.

@@denimchicken104 imagine if in the next F-Zero we could change the "place" of a track. Like we have Big Blue - Ordeal or Aeropolis - Dragon Slope, but after beating each cup we can choose Ordeal in Fire Field or in Mute City and Dragon Slope in Sand Ocean or Green Planet another "planet" and it changes the scenery but also sometimes some properties of road like having more ice floors or no rail guards. The last cup is generated randomly. Would be cool to see Lightning cross in another place like Big Blue and it would be Big Blue at night with a thunderstorm.

The rubberbanding on the AI in Phantom Road was so obviously bad. You'd think in a game like this rubberbanding wouldn't exist.
It’s pretty bad on one of the Mute City tracks too, but Phantom Road is the worst about it

@@KirbyGotenksabsorbedthe AI rubberbanding in Grand Prix mode is very, very small, it's barely even a factor to be honest. The only true advantage the AI gets is they have nearly perfect vehicle control. That's why the AI on Phantom Road looks ridiculous because the track is just INSANELY hard for human players, the AI is able to navigate it way better. But if you are clean and precise enough the AI cant do anything to catch you.
Now if GX had X's rubberbanding........the game would be simply unbeatable LMAO.

Black Bull was always Beast of a Machine...
That machine looks strange. Wait a minute! That's the Black Bull! Watch out racers or you might not go home alive.
Here is the most recognizable machine in F-Zero, the Black Bull. Recognizable for design and stats. Design wise, it's the strangest ever. What kind of driver wants the canopy above the main part of the car?! That part suspending the cockpit should slow this thing down to a crawl. The added fourth engine in the pod is cool though and the silver points on the front is killer. Oh boy, driving it is a hassle. It's considered the second best machine in GX. Fastest top speed at 1130 kmh. As such, acceleration is super slow. With those 2340 kg built into this black tower of death, it most certainly has an A body. It's supposed to be an E in boost and A in grip (another trait of being recognizable being the only AEA machine) but those letters are not accurate. Boost is incredibly strong. Still not as strong as thirty-one or twenty-two. A B is much more accurate. Likewise, the grip is so not good. It's more like a D or even an E. Due to the sheer weight, cornering is the worst. Hard to control, benefits to reap, lots to learn. Only drive the Black Bull if you know how. Knowledge and strategy can beat everyone at Phantom Road too.
I'd say more recognizable vehicles are any of the OG four, but the BB certainly has a lot going for it.
@@manuelmateo3392 if a gamer were to see the Black Bull and not know it came from F-Zero, I don't think they'd recognize it as a racecar due to its strange design.

No kidding. I've been trying to beat all cups on master after beating story on very hard. I'm using the black bull cuz I've always loved it, but man, this guy nailed it when he said it is a chore to use. The grip makes it so hard to handle. That top speed tho??

Black Shadow's voice sounds so awful in this game after what I'm used from the GP Legend series. Although Japanese, he sounds more evil, now it's more clean XD

Funny how this version Black Shadow has the best car in the series, while Black Shadow in GP Legend has one of the worst cars in the series.

It was very common for the fzero gx stats to flat out lie; They just showed stats from fzero x. Black Bull was probably the worst machine in x but it's one of the best in gx.

Black Bull has more speed, but you can controll Blue Falcon easier, honestly I prefer Blue Falcon, I never win when I play using Black Shadow ha ha

Black Shadow is better... If you are able to perform advanced techniques such as mts, mt, mtrs etc. for a beginner Blue Falcon is easier to control, but a worse ship overall
Black Bull here is the 2nd best machine behind Fat Shark... Meanwhile in F-ZERO X is by far the worst
At advanced levels of play, Black Bull is FAR better. Casually... it's still far better. Its handling deficiencies can be made up for by properly timing your quick-turn inputs and its boost is actually really strong. It feels a lot less like the AEA it is and a lot more like an ABE machine.
The Blue Falcon is a total noobwagon in GX. Easy to drive... and that's it. It's a handling machine running on tracks that don't benefit a handling machine. Its top speed and acceleration are average and its booster is honestly one of the worst. It's not the _worst_ machine in the game since it can still do all of the advanced techniques to some capacity, but it's the weakest viable machine in the game. Everything that's worse than it has severe deficiencies that can't be covered for.
From what I understand:
Body: Durability and attack power
Boost: Speed
Grip: Handling
Is that right?
attack power is not tied to body. weight has some influence though.
grip and handling are separate stats and handling is a hidden stat. grip has several different grips tied to it but overall it's how much a machine slips on the road.
oh btw, none of the machines's stats match how they perform in reality.

Is there a page that has the "real" stats for every ship? I've just picked up the game and I'm currently using Blue Falcon but I'd like to see what other ships out there have good cornering and traction.

This machine frustrates me. I can barely use it 'cause it's so slidy, yet the AI always dominates with it and the staff ghosts that use it are extremely hard to beat due to its ludicrous top speed.
Pro tip, if you start a slide and then start turning, you won't start drifting. This is true for all vehicles in the game, but it really matters for the machines that drive on butter. You can also use this to make a vehicle that has started drifting stop drifting. Use the slide, make minimal use of the control stick, and when the vehicle starts sticking to the ground again it won't lose control. By doing this, it's even possible to make a max acceleration Black Bull drive straight.

Not a fan of Black Bull. No matter how slight my control stick movements that thing has no traction. And trying to get the traction back once you've lost it is fucked hard. I was able to beat the whole game inside and out and I can't even attempt personal best times with it :/

Because I’m assuming Madao prefers max speed over acceleration. Also snaking can damage your hands and give you carpal tunnel syndrome
I say the best cars for max speed is Sonic Phantom, Big Fang, Death Anchor, and Fire Stingray, thats if you want to relax your fingers.

It's a good game, but the stupid character animations and pictures, and the flashing and waving camera ruins it a bit.
