I purchased last years Renthal Fatbar in aluminum at Sea Otter Classic in April. Would love to update to latest in carbon!!! All to keep my Specialized Enduro Comp 650B looking good and performing well!! Thanks!!!! Bob from NH.
Got mine today the 35 carbon light black gold 30 riser ! Got a picture with you on them ! Got the 740 mm 180 gram and the Apex 80 mm stem and a 50mm apex too for the next build 1st one ! Thank you !
Are renthal carbon fat bars compatible with race face atlas stems ? Already own the stems in 2 different lengths , was looking at these bars , the stems I own are expensive , would prefer to utilise them .
I'm buying a 35mm handlebars made of alloy, but they weigh around 340g, and I'm a bit concerned the extra weight might affect performance on my 14.4kg mtb. Any thoughts?
Was thinking of upgrading my bars but it seems like all I do is spend money on repairs, just got back form a ride had a look at my bike and noticed that I lost one of my chain ring bolts, kill me now.
Yooo im planing on buying a renthal handlebar for my c100 v3 bike and idk if the stem would fit on it it says the stem is 50mm or something does soembody know?
Definitely wish they still made the lite version in 740 and the fatbar in 780, it was unique and basically like renthals signature sizing. I'm still rockin the 740 with the tall 38mm rise and have zero need to go wider for my bike. I demand that your face be put on the next generation of fatbar packaging Neil. All models
You should do a video on who one these after because it's hard to tell if we won or lost, who else is with me? Keep up the good work gmbn! Loving what you guys do! :D
Get a wider Handlebar ;) 685 is pretty narrow either way and with a wider bar you can counter the shortness of your bike. And secondly you get superior control and handling through the wider bar. 740mm is pretty much the standard for Trail/All Mountain bikes. Only downside might be, that your torso is more leaned forward, what might cause tension in your shoulders, but this is rather unlikely. Cheers
I would try a longer stem, I'm 178 cm tall, and my 16.5' frame trail bike came with a 60mm stem with 750mm bars, well I lost the front end twice while not even cornering very hard, so I decided to try an 80mm stem, and that made all the difference, I've not lost the front end ever since, I guess the shorter stem on that size frame just didn't put enough of my weight over the front. I also chopped the bars down to 700mm, 750mm felt like they gave me too much leverage, I've not lost any control, and the bike doesn't handle any worse, the longer stem just slows the steering down a little, and the shorter bar simply requires a little more force to turn the bars, which I actually think is an improvement, the steering's feels more stable now (less twitchy) and it wanders less on climbs too, these things probably come down to bike fit and personal preference, so I would just experiment and see what works best for you.
Neil I run a 70mm stem on my giant trance advanced (medium) I'm 5ft 8 inches I'm having trouble getting my bum over the back wheel to try and do a manual what would you suggest ?
Really hope to win just got a new bike and my bars are to short and my stem is to long I would be great if I win because I don't have the money to invest in a set of bars and Stem
I great video hope I win the carbon bars because I made a MTB track and my bars snapped so this it gust what I was looking for thanks good luck everyone
I was coming down a rooty trail and there was a step down that I didn't expect was there and when jumped it i might of had alittle too much pressure on the bars, they are really cheap bars too.
35mm stands for the worst of so called innovation. Stiffer and a tiny heavier. No one needs it or asked for it. Absolutly one of the least useful "uppgrades" you can make to your bike. If you read between the lines of Renthals press relese they did the 35mm beacause everyone else was doing it not beacause it was any benefit of the 35mm diameter
Just got the Lite Carbon's with the Apex stem. Awesome design and quality.
I love the fact you are giving the less fortunate riders a chance so have some good gear!!!
Same!

the stem costs more than the bars......

Nice Product indeed.
Which rise you personally ride on your bike?
If my stem is a nuke proof one that is 35mm and I ordered some fat bars in 35mm would it fit ?

moussaemad no it will not, if you can tell any difference you are probably a professional
do they do these renthals in red for my trek ebike?

can't decide on stem size. I have 70mm now on my 17' giant trance 2 and ride DH/trail. would it be extreme going 70 down to 50 or 40mm?
m00nchildblues am I to late to answer your question?
the Renthal Fatbar® is carbon 35 800 40 mm riser?
Thanks Damon

Question for viewers: shall I get the 27.5 Scott spark 750 or 27.5 trek fuel ex8 ?
Trek fuel ex8
Hey what's the rise height on those handlebars?
Hi GMBN, If I choose the fatbar carbon, can I also get the apex stem?
Yup, we know everyone is going to be running different setups and riding positions so we're going to do our best to accommodate on stem choice.
Those look sweet, would love to get one for my bike
More top class give aways from GMBN. The channel just gets better and better :-) lovin it 💗
You guys are giving away allot of cool stuff! thanks!
your the best helping riders out there is cool thanks for the video keep up
These would look sweet on my fixie.
I have a 31.8 685 mm handlebar but stem seems too short... For my 185 cm and 16' frame. What you can recommend me?

Ha, great timing, because my handlebar got a major bend in it after I got caught between two trees during a downhill ride, it wasn't pretty.
wat is the standart clamping diameter plz reply
The link doesn't work for me 😭😭😭 getting bad gateway error
why cant i open the page for the contest? is it because i live in canada?
Neil I run a 70mm stem on my giant trance advanced (medium) I'm 5ft 8 inches I'm having trouble getting my bum over the back wheel to try and do a manual what would you suggest ?
IMO u should get a shorter stem
i can relate with you, i had a really long day on the trails and wow did i have back pain, with your height probably get a shorter stem
who won the helmets??
Just found out that the renthal factory is about 2 miles from my house...too bad they don't have a factory shop :)
We’re is it,isn’t it in the Uk 🇬🇧
Rental is a British brand

"aarghh look at that lovely gold stem"

I want these in gold
Really hope to win just got a new bike and my bars are to short and my stem is to long I would be great if I win because I don't have the money to invest in a set of bars and Stem
super nice
Why not talk about the stiffness of the 35mm carbon bar while still giving vibration dampening. Why else even make a fat bar?
when will the winners be announced
Today on the Dirt Shed Show
thank you
Hope I win, I've been locking forwards to one of these for sooooo long.
are the fatbars meant for fat bikes?
No, these handlebars are the wrong shape, your wheels are round. You should stick to using tyres.
I could use new handlebars! :)
Chocolate tastes better than my handlebar..
I wish I could win one.My bars cheap and heavy
I great video hope I win the carbon bars because I made a MTB track and my bars snapped so this it gust what I was looking for thanks good luck everyone
everybody's going with 35 mm handlebars and I'm still here with my 31.8 one :(
It's the bike industry who is pushing it but I'm not sure people are too excited about them.
I'm with you. I don't particularly want to change my SixC bars to get a 35mm one.
+TheMrDavidCurran my mate sold his SIXCs to buy 35mm SIXCs and he said he felt literally no difference
I think it's like 650b vs 26 bikes. the benefits are marginal
you know what pisses me off? I bought the Renthal apex 31.8 stem exactly a month ago
I hope I win, this would make my day!!!
why do i need to be 18 for the give away and why shhiping costs us
I really hope I win!! my bars are cracked right next to the grips
I was coming down a rooty trail and there was a step down that I didn't expect was there and when jumped it i might of had alittle too much pressure on the bars, they are really cheap bars too.
anything longer than 660 would be cool for me!!! I want one xd!!!😭😭

Putting any of that equipment on my bike would ruin the handling...
Can i have one free handle bar 😊

I agree but I think that with the aluminium one Renthal actually shaved some grams.
The last 2 new bikes I bought come standard with 35mm stem/bars....time to quit living in the past my friend!
Second
Omg, I hate so much design of those handlebars, it looks like some prototype from '90
you talking about the brace?
because that is just the packaging
Ouu hope to win one !! :D #globalmoutainbikenetwork
noice :)
Super NOT nice. New standards can suck.....
first
infomercials suck. thumbs down
