Thank you Brie for saying humans are animals. Since elementary school whenever I found out that humans are mammals and mammals are animals that has always been my response whenever someone makes the implication that we are not animals. Yes there might be differences between humans and other species however there's differences between pretty much every species even sometimes within the species there's differences among the males and females sometimes there's differences among the ones that went to this country or that country or live near the water or not like there's some snakes that can swim and then other snakes that couldn't swim but can climb a tree.
I had a neighbor at an apartment complex one time lose their shit on me despite explaining that humans being animals is just a fact and not an insult. 🤦♀️
I was stupid enough to watch this movie before I found a good medication for my anxiety. I had an attack so bad I had to spend the night at my parents’ house.
Mindful eating is actually another way to make the food taste more because there's apparently a second set of nostrils in the back of your throat kind of in addition to being a way to lose weight because you can actually get more nutrition from less food by breaking it down in your mouth instead of having your stomach do all the work.
The religious thing always pissed me off whenever they tried to separate us from other animals considering the fact that a being as all-knowing and all-powerful as a god would see humans as no more significant than each individual cell in your body. Every single form of life would be the exact same level of significant to such a being that created all of existence. Also if there was a God then they definitely didn't create life on one planet but probably trillions of planets and a being that has created life on trillions of planets has more important things to think about than whatever you're praying about
Ignorance is bliss...out of sight...out of mind. That is the message I got from watching that movie🤔 The limited portion of food and the fact they can't see other people despite knowing they're there kinda proves it😐
Technically they did have resources of whatever one item they brought in and the Unlimited Supply of water so they could technically supplement the lack of food with additional water
I would say that it's a commentary not only on social structures however also what the positions do to us. Everyone could be up high one month and at the very bottom the next. The Stanford prison experiment, even the professor got way to into the position of power during the experiment and it had to be shut down early. Basically having the power to screw over others especially when it includes someone who may have screwed you over is extremely tempting. We also take bits of others who we spend time with. He adapted to the place with a man who ate his roommate, made plates and tried to make a change by whatever way he could with the one who was his interviewer, and took action with the last one who tried to climb upwards. Also most anyone would end another's life if they are put in the right circumstances.
You know this movie's good whenever key things like how does the platform work like scientifically how do they know when you keep food how do they know went that you kept food versus a part of a plate that you broke off so you can scratch the wall to keep track of the days... what is the meaning behind burning or freezing them and how do they keep the temperature in that one area when there's a giant hole in the floor and the ceiling ... These are the questions you ask after all of the other questions about this movie yet in almost any other movie these would have been the first question to ask... well obviously not these questions but you know what I mean
Another great Netflix show that talks about these concepts is the 3%. It's a show and has many more actors/extras however takes the same core concepts.
Apparently the guy who created Tom's actually created an economic collapse in the areas that he would give his shoes out because the cobbler would lose their job because people would rather have free shoes that are brand-new then to continuously repair or buy expensive shoes that they can't really afford. So that person lost their job and Tom's didn't think to hire local cobblers to make any shoes so that caused a chain reaction because then they couldn't support the people that they supported on a regular basis. Those people took a hit to their monthly income so a lot of them who were living month-to-month might not have been able to have paid all their bills that month so Ben that put those people in Jeopardy and then so on and so forth and eventually economic collapse. The guy behind Tom's was trying to do something good yet because of his savior complex and inability to see the larger picture there was something that was just overlooked and caused more problems in the long run.
Also with the poorest people I can attest after growing up in and out of homeless shelters that a majority of homeless programs are designed to actually keep you homeless. You have to stand in line for this then for that than for this then for that than for this and maybe you need a little bit of time to relax so they have a movie but you got to be there like 20 minutes before it starts and then right afterwards you need to go wait in line for dinner and then after that you need to get line for staying there overnight because they don't want to let you in after like 8 or 10 at night and that means that a lot of job she just can't do even if you skipped a bunch of the resources the shelter offers. Even the program's to do get you out of homelessness get you back to renting a place and yes renting is a million times better than what indentured servants had to go through however it is the modern equivalent. The concept of having to work your entire life for someone else's benefit. And if you have one bad month then you're probably going to end up right back on those streets.
So, if you're on level 10, do you jump on the 29th day? Because chances are your next level will be way down at the bottom. And it would be hell going from gorging on food to slowly starving to death.
Seen a few reactions now, but I'm curious why no one reacts to that there is nothing sending the platform up or down. No chains, ropes or anything. It just hovers. Magic? Metaphysical? Or just very literally a metaphore about wealth/resources being passed down. Is this a form of purgatory?

Basically the experiment showed that the things that you have can also change how you think but it only works if you understand these social implications of the product you're holding.
Communism was definitely a thing in this movie, especially when heroes decided to force people ration their food (goods for everyone). Spain was familiar with communism in 20th century.
Although to be fair I have eaten dog on multiple occasion and eating cat. Plus pigs are just as intelligent and have about as much emotional intelligence if not more. Also don't yell at me it was at a Chinese buffet and my family ate there all the time and then it got shut down because we found out that it was getting most of its meat from the animal shelter that was right next door only because it was on the news. And then there was a time in the Bahamas where we were visiting people and we visited an island and then the next day we visited the island again and we were honored guests they cooked for us. During dinner we asked about the dog and they let us know we were eating the dog and that it died of natural causes. Although it was a small island so waste-not-want-not.
Also if you eat off of smaller play to trick your brain into thinking that you have larger portions. Not by much but just enough to where you could theoretically eat 5% less everyday.
Yeah to be honest I was okay with this movie concept whenever it was just humans but then they brought a dog into it and I was like oh no f*** this s*** f*** this
Oh also crime rate and murder rates go way up with less recorces, there for they are killing each other oflver the little they do have. The rich people die yet mostly from themselves when they think of losing the good life they have become used to.
I’ve followed them for a min and never came to watch this reaction. However! I saw this movie years ago well before following them. Or maybe after still but didn’t really watch reactions. Just! Came from a different reactor watching Cabin in the Woods and the comments mentioned this film. So found who watched it and boom, here.
"cannibalism I can get past but eating a dog..." Lol So...better not to have her near if shit goes down... However, pretty sure if she was put in that same position she'd eat the dog, like most people would.
You need to react to "tarde para la ira", "REC", "Balada triste de trompeta" and "El Bar" Really good spanish movies too For the record almost every film we make in spain is brutal with a wild guion haha Greetings from Seville, Spain!
When you were talking about people buy in excess in more developed countries. I do agree but on the other hand it's not the individual that has the ability to change things like that. In the us most crops grown don't go toward feeding people it goes toward feeding livestock which does then go toward feeding people. Though then a not insignificant amout go towards gas and products. People in the world starve because a company can pay for products while the improvised can't.
As a Latino I can tell that The Spanish accent and mannerisms of the old man, make him the star of he film, it delivers. He looks creepy, discusting, and crafty someone not to be trust it at all.
Unfortunately I see plants as conscious living organisms in of themselves I mean they essentially have a monetary system with water in certain areas of the world where they have decent mycelium Networks. Just like the internet if you pay more you get a better connection and you actually get information about incoming bug attacks and things like that faster if you give the mycelium Network more water which can give me time to prepare for the attack and secrete an enzyme or something like that the helps repel the bugs or cut off circulation to the leaves or something like that. I just think that there different forms of consciousness and then every form of life requires taking of another life in order to take continue.
It also comes from a problem with the rich not understanding that we no longer live in a zero-sum game. Now then we can create things digitally that do not actually exist but are created due to our time and effort this means that we can literally create value out of nothing well not out of nothing you have to have a device that you paid for but you know what I mean. That combined with the fact that if we have a more educated populace than technology advances faster technology advances faster than it gets cheaper faster they also can get a longer life expectancy and other things of that nature however they're more afraid of losing money in the short-term because even rich people don't know if they're going to be alive in 2 weeks. Because all the money in the world still can't protect you from a random accident. At least not yet.
After you watch Snowpiercer there's a great film Theory video on the movie and I want to talk about it but I know that some of you read the comments and some of you might not have watched the movie yet so I'm not going to say anything please watch the movie and then watch the film Theory video on that movie because it will not only change the way you see the movie Snowpiercer but it will change the way you see another story

Next time y’all should watch “Beast of no Nation “
I only watch traumatizing movies with the normies
"cannibalism I can get past but eating a dog..."
Lol So...better not to have her near if shit goes down... However, pretty sure if she was put in that same position she'd eat the dog, like most people would.
Dude..she has told me multiple times that she would eat me in the zombocolypse, I sleep with one eye open and the News on
@@spideyharper618 Guess I would too xD
That is NOT how I phrased it 😂
You guys should watch Jujutsu Kaisen 0 the movie okay. This is the prequel before Itadori Yuuji.
"This is stupid!" the only appropriate response to this movie.
You need to react to "tarde para la ira", "REC", "Balada triste de trompeta" and "El Bar"
Really good spanish movies too
For the record almost every film we make in spain is brutal with a wild guion haha
Greetings from Seville, Spain!
Everyone is taking a remarkably American interpretation.
…we are American so…it’s inherent
i always heard about this movie...but wow it was even more messed up than i thought lol
16:39 LOL
Marketa's hair is amazing. I wish I looked that good with short hair.
Lol
Marketa is crazy
@@_Yombo Why do you think so?

Great movie.
This movie is too much, it's an amazing commentary on society with loads of metaphors but it's too much... had to skip half of it
It also comes from a problem with the rich not understanding that we no longer live in a zero-sum game.
7:04 that "bad boy" effect and attitude really doesnt fit when he covers his face every single little scary thing
This movie is so good. 🔥
Movies like this make me think how sick in the head some people are like how can someone think of this idea of a story
Love this movie!
Marketa So Damn Fine Fr Man.
This was the wrong movie to eat food with. Sick.
Obviously i would prefer some sort of order…but how can you say you dont get it. Imagine not eating for 30 days and only staring at the ceiling. Yeah. That food platform is getting devoured.
It's non if the phone is Android or Apple what matters it is do you know what to look for and does your voice recognition actually recognize your accent
