Kecak dance in Peliatan

PRIOR NOTICE: I am an amateur videographer and a simple tourist. My channel has no commercial purpose. I travel very often to Indonesia and in particular to the island of Bali.
As I am passionate about both video and Balinese culture (Hindu ceremonies, traditional dances and music), I often film the events and shows that I attend. It is my way of keeping memories of my stays and of making known the rich culture of this island.
Kecak dance recorded in balerung stage, Peliatan (Ubud) December 23, 2018. Kecak dance, which is usually called "Monkey dance" depicts an episode of the Ramayana story. The monkey chorus of 30 men sitting in circle is performed by the members of Gamelan Gong Kebyar Genta Bhuana Sari, created in 1992 by A.A. Gede Oka Dalem in Peliatan.

Many countries try to promote their country to attract tourists. In ASEAN, the successful country is Thailand.
