Bucks Fizz is also a drink, similar to a mimosa but with a larger ratio of orange juice to champagne, that's what Tom was hoping for.

Linda telling crazy story’s about her life are the best. This show is as British as fish&chips and the rain.
Berserk episode, no wonder Tom turned out the way he did, having swingers for parents, dear god! The song was "Making Your Mind Up" by Bucks Fizz. Famous 80's song over here from Eurovision. lol It was a ploughman's sandwich, and extra special freshly squeezed lemonade for my snack, very enjoyable. ❤ Great reaction once again, loved it!

That was the bucks fizz pop group with their signature song making your mind up. What Tom actually want it was bucks fizz the drink.
The funny thing about the mum is Tom has made a few references to Robert Carlyle always 'stealing' his parts in movies and Anna Keaveney who plays Tom's mum played Roberts in a movie called The 51st State
I have a feeling she had a part in Shirley Valentine as well.

No Frills was the actual brand name of Kwik Saves budget range back in the day. Their version of Tesco Value, Sainsburys basics etc.

The UK's winning entry to the 1981 Eurovision Song Contest, with iconic dance moves and costumes including the 'skirt pull'. In eurovision you have to perform live but can also have some dance elements so they did really well to do this routine and sing as well.

I watched this series when it was first on tv, watching it again with you (even though I have the box set) I see Tom and Linda as to very Narcissistic flat mates, Kills me the way Linda thinks herself to be stunningly beautiful and Tom thinks he is the only gay Oscar winning Actor, it written so well, it's all the little throw away remarks and one liners that make it for me, people say the younger generation wouldn't watch it today, my son loves it, but like you been American, young people would have to have a lot explained to them and that doesn't make it as funny as it is to us oldies 🤣 sometimes your expressions are priceless 👍x

Its hard to describe what I mean here but I love this episode even though it is not one of my all time favourites. Love the twist with Tom's 'boring' parents and the scene Linda is seducing the Dad is hilarious "Some men say they're my best feature, them and my Lily white ass" 😂 Code word Happy Birthday Tom. Great ep and reaction.

First update: The band Jez, Suze and Linda dress up as are Eurovision winners Bucks Fizz. There is also a drink called Bucks Fizz that is mostly typical for a morning drink at Christmas or on birthdays. That’s where Linda’s confusion over what Tom asked for on the morning of his birthday came from, bless her 😂

How do you get these episodes? If it’s UA-cam you won’t be able to get Series 3 as it’s not on there I don’t think! It’s on BBC iPlayer but I’m not sure it’s available in USA 🙏
