Its been a hard start for many up here in Ontario as well. Today finally broke the musky ice for this season. Another bonus walleye on a musky slash bait was cool..Massive cold fronts completely deranged things and made things more interesting then we care for haha. Any day you can still go out and locate and get any species to commit while chasing muskies, is a good day to me. Love seeing them get taken on glides, any esox for that matter
Bowfin are, no contest, my absolute favorite fish to accidentally catch. They fight like crazy and they’re one of the most ancient species in this area, very cool fish.

Yeah man, the first one I got was on a medium-light spinning rod with 8lb. mono, it smashed a little X-Rap I was throwing for bass. Quite a battle haha
There is a saying about how any action is good action! You guys were def on the pike program, keep after the musky you will get one!

The Lonesome Fisherman We were fishing a river here. I'm pretty confident I can break the bad luck soon. Heading to northern WI the 19-23 of June. Will be fishing some waters I know, and a few that will be new to me!
