As a long term fan of the Evangelion series, I was so stoked to hear that ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) announced the comprehensive ROG x Evangelion collaboration centered around EVA-01! It was without a doubt my destiny to create a build with these components and what a pleasure it was indeed!
Just prior to the ROG X Evangelion components arriving, NZXT sent over their all new H7 Flow and C1000 PSU, perfect! This had to be the ideal case, mobo and GPU setup for my vision!
For this build I really wanted to push the EVA theme as much as possible, whilst also keeping things relatively clean and without too much colour distraction.

Your build looks way better to me then compared to the other ones I've seen for the new eva builds! Good choice with the case and fans. I was going to get the eva asus 3090 but I was like why tf would I pay 2050 for a 3090 when I could get an evga 3090ti for 1999.99 and that's the ultra. So I chose performance over looks this time and I feel like I made the right choice tbh lol.
Thank you. The H7 was definitely a nice choice for this build, especially coupled up with the new vertical GPU riser, a nice touch! You can't go wrong with the 3090Ti. How have you been getting on with it? :)
@@Mr_Matt_Lee it's fantastic tbh, it's better then I expected due to the Temps. I Mena it doesn't get over 65c when gaming. They Def fixed the issues with the 3000 series specifically the 3090 with heat. The vram is Def much better where it's at with cooling. The stability is unlike any card it's insane. The lows are always high. I haven't had a stutter yet. I think many things aren't talked about but it's a polished product and imo what the others should of been. Yes it puts out heat but it's cooling is doing its job. I Def won't be upgrading this generation. I'll wait until the 5000 or 6000 series to upgrade. That is unless evga releases a 4090 within the next 3 months if they do I would trade my 3090ti in for one on there trade program. But I'm not counting on that! But yeah I think to many people only look at average fps when it comes to cards. It's so much more then that imo. I think there are benefits to this card again that most dont talk about. You probably understand if you have ever uses one yourself.

Ok for everyone, there is a whole PC eva theme out, in this video the psu was not used or the eva themed case, I believe there is a cpu liquid cooler (believe) although the PSU themed sleeved cords are a major plus towards the theme, no hate towards the ram but sad it was not fully slotted to show how much a difference 4 can look hence minimalism in a sense. NZXT fans do bring out the purple shade well compared to most although I rather use Lian li fans for their lovely look. Now in this video I learned about the GPU theme, the mouse and keyboard plus the headphone. Just like the gundam series ROG themed PC, lovely build thx

Yup! Both 3080 and 3090 versions exist! The 3080 would be my goto choice for my needs and budget. Very capable card for sure! Thanks for the compliments on my build too 😁

Hi man, I’m currently trying to do the same build but I’m a complete newbie. I have a question about how all the fans are being controlled. More specifically the be quiet fans , are they connected to the motherboard or also the NZXT controller? Appreciate any feedback
Thanks for the support 😊✌️ regarding the control… the Be Quiet fans specifically are connected to the motherboard ARGB header and the NZXT fans are controlled from their own controller. That way it was much easier to individually control the lighting for both sections 🤜🤛

Ever since I got this MB my monitor takes longer to turn on. Like when I restart my PC I can’t even see the boot up screen where it says to press F2 to enter bios. Have any of you had this same issue with the z690 MBs??

1. Видяха греет SDD и все на свете, что стоит за ней же. У меня 3080ti и самая горячая часть это как раз "тыльная" пластина
2. Каналы AIO тоже под ударом тепла отходящего от видеокарты.
Сам смотрю в торону такого расположения видеокарты, но видимо не судьба. Либо нужно миллион куллеров снизу или водянку на саму видяху)

It's not, the top RGB comes standard with the H7 Elite, but I added it to the H7 Flow. This was after I finished the main build video so I didn't actually film it being installed *doh!*

Isn't that AIO comes with pre applied thermal paste?
It does yes, but I cleaned it off prior because I prefer using Noctua thermal paste. It’s a personal preference 🙂

it lost the sprit , the eva case
why the fans were mounted this way? the cold airflow is from outside into the case, in this direction the hot air inside can not cooling the radiator. the best option is to install the radiator behind the front triple fans
The fans are mounted in the best possible orientation for this build. Cold air is pulled through the three 140mm front fans, totally unobstructed too, then the top fans push that air through the top radiator and out. Technically speaking, heat rises and radiators are best to be on the top with the fans this way. Although, it’s a trade off. Front mounted radiators keep the cpu cooler with a hotter GPU. Top mounted radiators keep the GPU cooler. The NZXT H7 has that much air flow the temp differences wouldn’t be noticeable, rest assured 😁
