  • Thanks for the support over my last year on UA-cam! This video was recorded live on Twitch and I was answering questions from viewers. I also reacted to my own 0-2000 video and gave some behind-the-scenes stories, check out my VOD channel to see the full stream!

A question I have is, How should chess players behave when they lose, and how do you behave when you lose?

CCT - Checks, Captures, Threats . . . Your remark : "Threats? What does that even mean?" is absolutely brilliant! I was wondering about that for a long time too, and I am happy to let that one go. It's like saying : Checks, Captures, and playing chess :)

A heartfelt declaration by Kamryn: (7:46).
The exact moment when the eyes cannot hide what the heart is feeling...
Caissa knows which hearts to touch.
Welcome to the chess realm, Kamryn.

"at 2:50 "...Threats? What does that even mean?". GM Freidel has some very good YT videos, and its noticeable that he thinks in terms of "Tempo Moves" rather than Checks, Captures, Threats. Being from Minnesota, you know that rolling a Strike or Spare means you get to bowl another ball, thus depriving your opponent of their rightful turn. This is the essence of chess: Skilled players constantly chivvy opponents with limiting annoyances, often in series, which is the chessic equivalent to Strikes & Spares. That is, Tempo Moves > anything else (usually)...

I found playing quicker games allowrd me to see patterns more easily. Also if you keep using the same openong you keep seeing the sam3 positions..
