Tannenbaum (MLSE Chairman and majority owner - Raps, Leafs, TFC, etc.) only pushed for a Toronto franchise AFTER the Caitlin Clark hype. Timing had nothing to do with that expansion push... Caitlin is 100% the REASON Larry Tannebaum is bringing a WNBA franchise to Canada.
