Also consider that if lights are pointed upward into the sky, all those photons travel into the night sky and contribute to the light pollution that is becoming more of problem for ground-based astronomical observations.

How do you ensure you hit the peak with a bulb every time on a new job? Do you start at the peak and work down or measure up to the peak so you know where to start a run? Nothing looks worse than being 4 inches short of the peak.

Im in arizona and all the houses are stucco with tile roofs. The clips i bought dont work well on the tile and im trying to get the installation right this year before I invest in qualify lights. Any recommendations?

Do you face the bulbs down when installing on gutters also without gutter guards? Your gutter video showed them facing out.

Happy thanksgiving, any advice on installing clips “on top of shingles” ? My peak has a long metal vent that in’s the length of the roof so I intend to run the lights just in front of it. I’m considering using hot glue to attach the clips to the top surface of the shingle. (The shingles are completely glued down unable to install the clip underneath)
