Thanks a lot for this video, very helpful. Q: Can i do this without torque wrench or is it absolutely critical to get those nuts exactly to specified torque. I will own a torque wrench eventually but can't afford a good one at the moment and not wasting my money on cheap ones.... (any recommendations welcome)
Hi, I've noticed on mine the dust cover (thing at 5:50) comes off so that I can see the bearing (when the wheel is installed that is). Also I can move the sprocket in and out of the rim for about a cm. Do you have any idea why that might be happening? At first I thought there might be the spacer missing but it's there...
Tony i have just changed the chain and sprockets on my cbf 125. one thing i noticed on the new rear sprocket was that it did not have the metal "guard" type thing fitted to it, it was just plain. i dont think its a problem but i was wondering if you might be able to give me any info on that. cheers.
Rear Break does not do much .... If you have learned anything about Bikes. Most of your break power is in the Front !!! The weight transfers forward onto the Front Wheel . Why are you So surprised at the Rear pad wear ...... ? Hummm .
M P defo sounds like the bearing has gone, but dismantling rear wheel you will see exactly whats wrong. be careful , don't be riding with it as is DANGEROUS and will wreck alot more than just the bearings. 1 hour job and cheap to fix.
it just happened to me and i need to change everything from bearings to wheel adjusters and new chain/ sprocket set and for some reason my rear seat lock isent locking so i had to use a zip tie to hold it on the way home fuck me over 300 euro job in parts already tjeking fowlersparts for stuff i cant afford see you guys next season if im lucky ps fuck grammar
Very helpful video as it was my first time removing rear wheel. I changed both sprockets and chain. Thanks Tony

Hey, great video! one question, when you removed the axle rod did you just hammer it through from the side you removed the rear brake line from?
Dylan Ruane yes but do not forget never metal on metal, use a peice of wood between rod and hammer and tap do NOT belt it.
Greatly appreciated. Should have my new cush drive in in no time!
Dylan Ruane if you have any problems just let me know

Har har ! Cheers Tony , the brakes are the same dimensions alright , maybe I'll just have to find the right spoke tool , Thanks again .
