Great video and thanks for the tutorial ... but be aware it will only play videos at 720p max ... if you try 1080p or higher you only get a black screen with some audio

I did the SD2VITA mod and use it, this method works perfectly still.

If it’s 1 gb or higher it won’t work because that’s what happens to me but anything less than that it works perfectly just a little blurry if there’s a lot of things moving

media center is choosy on the type of mp4 you put in bec not all mp4s are playable.
We need a player that plays the most number of formats.

@jeffrey1296 I’ve got a 400gb but I’ve been considering a 1tb card since I wanna add some music and anime to it as well. That and there’s many ports comin it’s way too. I thought about getting a switch for certain titles as well but now that the Steam Deck’s comin along I’m just gonna go with that instead as it offers a lot more as far as customization goes

Just make sure the SD2Vita is set to UX0, then install the Adrenaline VPK.
Doesn't work anymore, only returns an error.
I use the network media player from ps store mind you you need a cloud drive to use it though or a server so I suppose this is good if you don't have that set up at home

I suggest finding a vita while they are reasonable on price. They're climbing slowly but surely because of the systems capabilities for retro emulation. That's the reason I got my vita most of the other handheld systems I was looking at for emulation were either extremely expensive for essentially a high powered android with buttons or some raspberry pi setups (which I'm wanting to do one of the minty ones to mess with people) and the Gameboy look alikes and there's a lot. Turns out the best ones for your buck are the psp the vita and the DSi

I have a question folks. I am converting a lot of my blu rays to mp4 for my vita since I bought an Sd2Vita and a 512 GB micro sd card. Does the Vita not support 320 kbps aac in a mp4 file? I am able to play back movies with a 256 kbps audio track but it will not play videos I convert with a 320 kbps audio track. My old PSP can play MP4 files that have a 320 kbps aac audio track so what gives?

I've downloaded mp4 videos on to the media center but the video doesn't show on my screen the sound of the videos come but not the screen

just sd2vita as you did 1st time , then you can use both cards as sd2vita ? one at a time

HELLPPP!! Im doing this now but i did everything correctly, but when i went to go find the media center file i couldn't find it under uxo, turns out i found it under umao. I have vitashell 1.98 everything went well but i couldn't seem to find my videos on media center. what did i do wrong?

My videos get deleted every time I connect Vita to the computer and I can't find where they get stored?
My vita memory remains the same so it must be somewhere.

For my it doesnt work the media center plugin. Once i open it load the interface but nothing works if i touch something. Any idea what is wrong?
It’s not a touch you have to use the buttons
James my PS vista is on a lower firmware if update it to the new update from Sony will it still be able to put vista shell and others.thanks
you can run Henkaku on any PS vita up to version 3.68

yes it probably went to um0 find it the and manually move it to DATA inside of your ux0

I got it to work. It seems like the vpk cannot see folders. That kinda sucks since you cannot organize the videos.
They gotta be mp4 if they still don't work try that program called freemake video
It needs to be 720p or lower. Try making a random folder in ux0 (mine is "phone videos") and put your videos in there, then mark them in vitashell by pressing square then triange -> more -> export media. That's it, now it's in your original videos app with any resolution. It compresses it for you so you don't need to worry about the right resolution. And it's much more convenient.
