    Johnny My Friend.......BRAVO! 👏👏 This rack is Brilliant and with the 4 probe placement you proved exactly what you said would happen! 👍
    I got a few people I need to tell this to. I will be honest with You.....I'm gonna steal this idea. Of coarse I will give you full credit. I only wish I had thought of it.
    I got a feeling lots of people may be stealing it....it's that great! 👍 Now I don't go for all this cell phone app. monitoring and settings, but I will be setting up
    my 4 probe thermometer like you did. 👍 Brisket was done evenly and looked great!

      Thanks Ken. This little rack mod worked out great... it worked out well for the 26... but I think would have to be smaller for the 22... and even on the 26 you can go larger than a 13 pound brisket... not enough head room on it. Take care Ken.

    Hey Johnny I just bought a used 26.5 and my second cook I did slower cook to see where it's leaking. It leaking excessively around the lid do you know a good mod for fixing this? Thanks love the videos.

    • @Viewtoagrill
      @Viewtoagrill  3 роки тому +2

      Hello Luke. A lot of people use this.. amzn.to/31L6nh8
      it is a self adhesive high heat gasket. Stick it to the perimeter of the inside of the lid... do not apply it to the body of the kettle. Just know that even though it is high heat it can still burn and in the future you may have to scrap it off and apply again. Take care Luke.

    • @jon4589
      @jon4589 3 роки тому +1

      Also check the lid and bowl for roundness. Use a tape measure to check if the bowl and lid are round, all directions should be the same measurement, or pretty close. If out of round, just give them a gentle hug to put them back into shape. Kettles shouldn't leak very much around the lid.
