Honestly, it's way too early to say that this is going to work. Russia has decided not to move its troops from the Ukrainian front lines back to Russia. If Russia continues to gain ground in Ukraine, like they're doing, without redirecting troops to Kursk. And the Ukranian offensive eventually stalls and gets pushed back. This will look like a very bad move. I hope all ends up well, but this is a risky move that hasn't succeeded yet, people should be told that.
