It's difficult yet so nostalgic to listen to these jingles. Such happy memories but such a great loss of the person they are synonymous with. Thanks for the memories.
As a chef growing up , Steve wright was always in the background 😀. So many memories come flooding back to the backdrop of your great shows Steve Thankyou for your talented work RIP 🙏.
RIP Steve, everyone in the business rated you highly and learnt so much from the UK radio trailblazer - these jingles bring back a few memories of some of the best radio years.
AJ....... It's great hearing this wonderful material of yours! **Weird Request Alert** Could you possibly post some of your very earliest Jingles please (What was your first actual sung Jingle?) I'm guessing it must of been in the Golden days of The Hot FM (and maybe Paul McKenna one of your earliest Clients?) Anyway would be great to hear any of this and your early material for Steve Wright... Thanks! Pete
Pete Wilson hi Pete thanks for commenting. The first jingle I have no clue but it was probably around the age of 11 years old long before Chiltern. There are some things I have from those days that if I could stomach to release them I will. :-) the earliest stuff needs dusting off and would only feel comfortable releasing the stuff we recorded at that, my first station. Let me see what I can find. Many of the tracks we used were library as I then had no facilities to make my own tracks. Much appreciated. AJ
It wasn't there!. Steve used the Thunderbird's Show opening on His show. Must have been for a Very short time as Nobody Remembers this But Me. please confirm This If You can. I would love to hear It again. Thanks for these Their Great.
TheBudgie29 I have no idea about this. Early 80s he used different things to open the show, some of which I know and others I'm not sure of the pieces.
