BEAGLE Tapes: Episode 22 - Heath Kirchart and Terry Kennedy

- This episode starts off with a young Terry Kennedy. Beagle films Terry's first line from the Baker2G video. Down to North County, Heath Kirchart battles the Oceanside 13 stair rail from his famous American flag cover of Transworld Skateboarding Magazine. Over to Hollywood Blvd and Western, Ryan Kenreich (RIP) gracefully rolls away from a switch hardflip over the Redline Station seven stair rail. In Orange County, Evan Hernandez toys around with a varial heelflip down a six stair at Chaparral Park in Anaheim. Over to Bricktown 10, Terry attempts a pop shuvit down the set. Jeff Aezer nollie halfcabs the Huntington Beach nine stair. Beagle attempts a gap to backside tailslide on the J Kwon ledge, but encounters a wardrobe malfunction. Dave Soto films a line Long Beach harbor. Coming full circle, Heath returns to the Oceanside 13 stair, for a second time, to get the cover shot with a "Baker Maker" rollaway. Circa 1999

What I love about Beagle is how he keeps everyone hyped and positive, no matter how pissed off they get at themselves after bailing multiple times in a row

Nah. The sw Hardflip wasn’t that “unreal”. The metro rail in West LA is not at all big or scary... I sw heelflipped it 3rd try and attempted SW Hardflip before getting kicked out...

@@vexshoemaker3941 I knew exactly what he was talking about. Someone did a trick on that spot in one of the THPS videos, I don't remember the trick. But I remember this trick being in an old darkstar ad in 411 and being stoked. Maybe that's the nostalgia vibes being crossed, who knows. You don't though, maybe you are just young, then it's not fully your fault you don't know skate history. **edit: probably that 411(maybe ONvm) darkstar ad is what you were looking for, didn't they use some weird color filter too?**
