Tokyo Dub by Juno Reactor, off their new album Gods & Monsters. This and Immaculate Crucifixion are my two favourites of the new album, although the rest is certainly not lacking.
Junk Reactor is a mix of World/goa/psy trance/IDM /trip hop. I think a lot of 90s people will agree when I say juno reactor is one of the founding fathers of trance since they experimented with it so much and they are in games and movies
ahh i was trying to remember this song the other day. I knew it had "Tokyo" in the song name but of course that's not enough to find it hahah. I was watching a video and the youtuber mentioned Juno Reactor and i immediately remembered that was the band name of this song and came here
This theme reminds me a lot of Massive Attack. Juno Reactor and all the musician's inherent to the project are such amazing sound engineers. It's like "listening" to architecture
I tend to imagine high def enthusiasts as the sort who overcompensate a lack of features in a song by overemphasizing the bass's importance in a song XD
I'm not some bass junkie. I've setup my sub-woofer so that I can't hear where it's in a room. UA-cam compresses music to 128 kbps -- sound degrades, bass degrades -- I can hear that. But I can't hear difference between 256+ kbps MP3 and FLAC.
the "main idea" of music is subjective, in that, every person will take something different from the music... you should not waste your time wishing that others had the exact same experience
i'm watching the energy flow and flying higher than heaven surpassing dimensions, encontering new forms of existence, new physical and spiritual systems, a new god to them, that's what im watching roght now listening to this eternally beautiful music and eternally beautiful group band i love them to fucking death
Are humans not a kind of creature as well? Humans think that they are not like other animals because they are "smarter", yet they are primates, mammals, vertebrates, just another part of kingdom Animalia.
just came along this band and genre i'm not going to lie via the matrix not really the kind of music i listen to but i'm very interested maybe because i played wipeout as a child none stop
I hear this piece of art, enjoy it, flying high (naturally), and then I say to myself let's see what others write about this beautiful piece... but then' I get disapointed seeing all these people's feedbacks about nonsense and I ask myself, could it be that all these people missed the main idea of music?? (sorry for bad english, not my first language(
some of us like dubstep, some like trance and some like justin bieber. And it will always be that way. That´s whats amazing with music. It´s such a diversity. So plz, dont tell people what they should listen to, or genres up and down... Just enjoy :) Really tasty song btw!
In fact the tribal influence in a large amount of Juno Reactor songs makes them much closer to.Goa than any other electronic genre. But still. Heu is his own genre.
Cool tune like Juno Reactor a lot. a bit like the electic sounds of Leftfield, Orbital, UNKLE, AllFlaws Kind of great at mixing up the electronica styles
As they worked, Case gradually became aware of the music that pulsed constantly through the cluster. It was called dub, a sensuous mosaic cooked from vast libraries of digitalized pop; it was worship, Molly said, and a sense of community.
you find those compilations only on youtube or in general? im kinda new to this genre, though i got to know many interpreters. are there any interpreters you know of who do make pseudo-goa shit or just some comps. ?
@DJxFrreaky Hey! How about defining it as Dubtronika? Coz' I still find Dub to close to traditional reggae (it originated in 1960's for Christ's sake). Whatdaya think?
I agree with you. Personally I have too genres: I Love It, and It's For Someone Else But for the records, most people are asking for the genre, because they like what they hear and they'd like to find more.

Haven't listened to this for a while I must say. Wow! What a great track! Mesmerising.

You might like kryptic minds too
There is an esoteric feel to all of Juno Reactor's tunes.
I don't recall anyone liked this in 2008, but now everyone seems to love it! I like the way things change with people.
you listen to it and you feel the energy flow ... directly from your subwoofer into your chest
This is frigging awesome! had not heard this one before now, thanks so much for the upload. :)
amazing how such a simple song can be so amazing
I remember when I first listened to it at his gig in helsinki.. live it's amazing. love it, truly beautiful song, so trippy.
Devilishly hypnotic. I absolutely love it.
Awesome track! I can feel the chill.
If I was to direct a new MIAMI VICE movie, this is a good example of music I would use.
Those bands are just awesome. You rule!!!
This is always good to listen at night (Especially driving or walking). Even when it's all quiet and peaceful too. =)
Have you ever talked to another being with no words, but an energy flow?

COOL !!!
I feel like I need to burn while on a terrace surrounded by foliage and, in the distance, is a wasteland.
So...Damn...Badass...
AWESOME ALBUM!!!
CD/FLAC version is so MUCH more bass intensive. UA-cam is just a joke when it comes to music
this video is from 2008. I'm sure it would sound alot better if you'd upload it today. Not as good as FLAC of course...but very close.
I tend to imagine high def enthusiasts as the sort who overcompensate a lack of features in a song by overemphasizing the bass's importance in a song XD

Are humans not a kind of creature as well? Humans think that they are not like other animals because they are "smarter", yet they are primates, mammals, vertebrates, just another part of kingdom Animalia.

@catpum That's wicked.

I dig
People don't limit people. People limit themselves. Believing you have been limited by others makes you a victim. Don't be a victim.

Really tasty song btw!
@danzinnyman I think when they put dub in the name they were referring to dub which is a sub genre of reggae
the genres are determined by the RPM,,,,,
Alto track papaaaa
Lol i've to buy this album from their site. :DD
In fact the tribal influence in a large amount of Juno Reactor songs makes them much closer to.Goa than any other electronic genre. But still. Heu is his own genre.
this is not my usual taste in music but it's pretty epic sounding :D
Cool tune
like Juno Reactor a lot. a bit like the electic sounds of Leftfield, Orbital, UNKLE, AllFlaws
Kind of great at mixing up the electronica styles
Damn, I must've heard a remix of some sort on Pandora. It had a sick guitar riff in the background.
Re-using the flamenco notes from Pistorelo makes me expecting the gun shots during the whole track.
As they worked, Case gradually became aware of the music that pulsed constantly through the cluster. It was called dub, a sensuous mosaic cooked from vast libraries of digitalized pop; it was worship, Molly said, and a sense of community.
@demonikreaper good call man.... my thoughts exactly...
I'm sure you mean "Genres don't limit people, people limit genres."
People don't limit people. LIMITS limit people
...
Limits don't limit people. Limits limit LIMITS
...
limits mistil milits stimil mitsli militis stilim litims mitsil
Anyone know where the vox came from?
spiritual awakening dub style .
Aliens.
@ikema2b how does a chinese keyboard look like?
PEOPLE limit people. and Genres limit PEOPLE too because genres is a concept made by people.
you find those compilations only on youtube or in general?
im kinda new to this genre, though i got to know many interpreters.
are there any interpreters you know of who do make pseudo-goa shit or just some comps. ?
@danzinnyman what's next? bugstep? goes like ''crash, swear, spit, stomp, squash, repeat''
@DJxFrreaky Hey! How about defining it as Dubtronika? Coz' I still find Dub to close to traditional reggae (it originated in 1960's for Christ's sake). Whatdaya think?
Ahhh, THIS is dubstep, the oldschool way! Fuckin love it, fuck the modern "dubstep" crap like skrillex and other posers...
tutu-tun-tun-tu-tun tututtun tunnnnnnn
@Spydrfish this sounds like Dubstep back when it was actually Dub step.
Nice dubstep.
knowledge dub =]
Try playing beggining of this at exact same time as Pistolero.
=)
Juno Dub-Tokyo Reactor
Dubstep!
For all the music elitists arguing about the genre: press play to listen the song.
If the song is good why care about the genre? Pff, grow up already.
I agree with you. Personally I have too genres: I Love It, and It's For Someone Else
But for the records, most people are asking for the genre, because they like what they hear and they'd like to find more.
nice :v
Your name is great
