- Juno Reactor - Guardian Angel 1995
Juno Reactor is a musical and performing act known for the cinematic fusion of electronic, orchestral and global music, the Matrix score and other film works. Central to the project is Ben Watkins, and his collaborations with a constantly changing ensemble of musicians from across the world, including percussionist Mabi Thobejane from South Africa along with countrymen Amampondo, Eduardo Niebla, Steve Stevens, Greg Ellis, Taz Alexander, Ghetto Priest and recently Yasmin Levy.
Originally Juno Reactor was formed as an art project in 1990; Ben Watkins wanted to collaborate with other artists to produce and be involved in exciting projects that were not commercially driven. He wanted to create experimental music/non musical soundtracks that would work with installations, art pieces and film projects.

Recently rewatched Texhnolyze and was reminded that there's nothing else like it that gets made these days. A damn near masterpiece that series was. This song is super fitting too!
I have the dvds:) one of the animes I kept in my collection.
Problem is i'm waiting for years for me forget everything about it so i can rewatch without remembering a lot of details, but that time never comes
I didn't skip any opening from Texhnolyze episodes, this one is such a banger!!
Actually this was realeased a thousand years into the future and came back and landed in 1995 for some reason. Ben Watkins trolled everybody.

I have seen Texhnolyze, twice, and the second time it was MUCH more depressing than the first time. This track fits absolute perfectly. Dark, deep, depressive and still energetic.
Still the greatest anime ever made 13 years later
This Track is Immortal
Petition to have it as mandatory soundtrack in every cyberpunk thing ever.
ahhh 2077
To have the same soundtrack in every cyberpunk thing ever would ruin the song.
No thanks it would ruin it with how shit "modern" cyberpunk is
Technolyze has it in the intro
you have my signature good sir. Just finished watching Texhnolyze 🥲
"If there's anything you want, anything at all.. come to me. I'll be your guardian angel."
This went so well with Texhnolyze!
+Timothy Perona It's like it was made for it.
I c . 😎
I c . 😎😀
+Raiko Seria finding out today that this wasn't made for Texhnolyze...
***** Yes, it wasn't, but still matched anime, and it's tone, 100%.
I first heard this track in the movie Drive (1997) and after years of trying to find it I run into again as a Opening Theme for the anime Texhnolyze. Damn fate, you scary!
During the motorbike fight scene at the Apollo bar near the end. After Toby told Maleek about a plan B to fight them off.
you know this people actually have music on the matrix , film witch was inspired by cyberpunk anime (ghost in the shell for the most )
you know whats weird, i was browsing through juno reactor videos and stumble on these comments. and by coincidence texthnolyze is on my list for anime i have to watch. i even have an asterisk next to it saying FIRST. but i haven't watched it yet in the past year since i added to my notes lol.

Welp, time to go watch Texhnolyze again. Then ergo proxy. Once a month
Loved this as the theme to the anime Texhnolyze. Love this song in general. The beat is hard hitting and hypnotic. Very inspirational, too. One of my all-time favorites by Juno Reactor.
Texhnolyze
Blarg EminA its great anime but i was blown away by Juno ever since i found out about psy and goa like 12 years ago. One of the most unique acts IMO. That Xavier Mix does a great job of just getting the intense "coming up" (;P) cuts of this song, like just a few clips of diff basslines.
Exactly

Not true..... Cuz i came from "Ringu : Spiral trailer" ;)
Magmashice brought me here. Absolutely based
... that after 15 years this masterpiece has only 1 Mio views, proves that mankind is doomed!
This is a banger. Watched Texhnolyze like 8 years ago and I had forgotten how cool the opening is.
I swear the best anime opening are from the 90, the best anime too
But... Texhnolyze is from 2004?
Edit: 2003
@@krystiangoralski4678 2003*
i'd say the animes of late 90's and early 2000s are the best blessing to animation itself

Mostly I'm into metal, but DAMNIT I love Juno Reactor, the more I listen to it, the more it rocks my socks off.
Listen to the metal remix of this song by Falkkone!
go for it live... it´s a must as a fan
I got into Juno Reactor thanks to Texhnolyze :) I totally love goa and psytrance, I am just not so well-versed within the genre so finding new names is hard to me.
True story, cross my heart.... Whenever I bought a new sound system, this was one of 3 tracks I would play before laying down my cash, along with "Enya" and "Metallica", purely to hear if the speakers could handle the bass. Anyway, I banged this out blaring in Curry's (I'm that old) and 2 staff members came running over. I assumed I was about to get told off, and was about to say "Fuck off, this costs 500 quid, I'm just testing the bass", but they pre-empted me with... " Who the fuck is this, and where can we get a copy?"

This sounds like something you'd hear in laser tag
It WAS something they used to play in our local laser tag back in about 95 ish. That statement just brought back so many memories :)
Laura yeah, I’m rather guilty playing this cd when I worked at Laserport in oregon back in the day, hahah.
TECHNO RULES, FOREVER!!❤❤❤❤
nowadays the genre has split.. its no longer techno, but goa trance
Absolutely, dude! REAL techno, too. 😎👍
@@LydiaReikoNope. Techno is a solid style, just like house. It's not going anywhere. People just can't commercialize it like before because sampling is now very limited with all the copyright obstacles that we now have worse than ever. But, this track was always goa trance. Techno is simply its origin and techno has many styles within it, including goa trance. True techno itself (early 90's techno 1990-1996) was spawned from EBM, industrial, very little electro funk and A LOT of new beat. So yes, this track is techno in general, but is goa trance more specifically. It's a lot like how rock has many styles within it as well, including heavy metal.

This is definitely the best song I've ever heard in my life.
Texhnolyze may have been weird as hell, but no one can deny that it had an EPIC opening, mostly due to this song~
I love Juno Reactor!
Very soothing and rather creepy at the beginning, cool though, I can just relax easily with this song. It definitely fits in with the Texhnolyze Anime Theme Opening.
This makes me want to type "like this if you're watching this in 3020".
TEXHNOLYZE

what about batman, the animated series though ?
THIS IS THE OPENING MUSIC FOR Texhnolyze !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
OLD GOOD TECHNO❤❤❤

@@ShadowWolfIsBack its not false, and neither is gospel, just educating one at a time
@@LydiaReiko Well then, your "education" is totally wrong 😂.
@@LydiaReikoLOL!! This is real oldskool techno, baby! That's how it was done back in the day! The band was even formed in 1990 and this was from 95! Still techno!

So calming, yet chilling... it's weird and paradoxical in a sense...
*shakes head* It's really not rocket science, dude. It's oldskool techno music and sounds fucking awesome. Simple. There's nothing wrong with that.
Techno music is one of the most amazing kinds of electronic music ever created.

in my opinion the album "beyond the infinite" is nothing less than a masterpiece.
It's used as the opening theme in an anime called texchnolyze.
Tremenda joyita, la mayoría la conoció por texhnolyze :3
I Love Juno Reactor because they're sooo unique! So many bands these days play the same music over and over... but that's not the case with Juno Reacter - their music has always been enchanting, mystical... really exotic! :D Things you really don't hear everyday! You actually get surprised that the music CAN be played THIS well! LOL!
Today (April 17 2020) I looked for the animatrix soundtrack, saw a piece by Juno reactor and remembered that I knew that name but now how.
Looked a bit more found this and now wondered where i knew this from, looked at the comments and the first comment by 'Blarg EminA' told me (Texhnolyze). I love these kind of realization that happen from time to time.

i used to have an old promo CD I had with my Sony speakers and this track was on it. Still sounds epic!
By the gods this is one kick ass music!
I can't get over how good this song is!
It doesn't matter what they "mainly" are, it matters what THIS track is, and it totally passes fine as industrial techno. BUT, you're right, if you wanted to find its category at a record store, since they mainly go by artists.
That was such a strange, jacked-up movie...
This song "Drive" is playing in the movie.(Marc Dacascos)
"Sem o escuro não há luz"...

this sounds like something from the fzero games, I like it
I love their stuff my aunt had One upon a time Mexico I believe the movie is soundtrack and Pistolero was on there- loved them ever since.
such an awesome visualizer!
Listening to this you are getting in another dimension. How can one be so creative and talented to produce something so unique?
I fucking miss mature anime like Texhnolyze
This song plays during that fight scene in that huge bar at the end of the movie "Drive" (1997) with Mark Dacascos and Kadeem Hardison.
I need to still see that movie! Do they got it on amazon prime??
Texhnolyze.
yes... but love their music instead.

+Emma McPherson Your taste in music is objectively superior to theirs.
+Emma McPherson Lol your comment is all too real.
No one's versatile with listening to music any more. Everyone just acts like a bunch of pretentious jerks about what music they enjoy. Frankly, I enjoy all music. From Juno Reactor, to pop music, to musical theatre showtunes, to rap, to rock, to pretty much anything. The only thing I've never really liked is anything with harsh vocals (anything with screaming), but I don't go around people who are fans of death metal being like "WOW YOUR TASTE IN MUSIC IS SO OBJECTIVELY SHIT"
I like pop too. (Whether its modern or the 90's) But trance is the best!

"anything you want, anything at all... come to me. I'll be your guardian angel."
Guardian Angel is the perfect movie fight scene music, yet I don't know of any movie that's actually used it in this way!
Someone here said that it was used in a martial arts movie with badass Mark Dacascos, called "Drive"!
