I really feel for the band 💔 It's not just a heavy personal loss, it's also the professional life they build together that gets turned upside down. It's such a complex situation, with the loss itself, the need to reinvent themselves as artists, the pressure of that and the looming feelings of their fanbase to whatever they do ... and like Phoenix touch on, they are five guys with each their own handling of everything. It must feel like a monumental challenge to face all that, together as a team; but I really hope they manage it, in whatever shape it takes. Hell, even if it's something I won't personally like, I'd still be so happy just to know that they are continuing with their passion. And if it doesn't work, I hope they are able to find other passions to fill their lives with purpose and joy and professional satisfaction. Wishing Phoenix all the best on the drums, it was so good to hear that ❤

Those early albums Hybrid,Re-A,and Meteora were some of the most driving infectious CD's I was listening to in my Buick,day and night.I had only been playing guitar in my bands at that time, and was starting to sing and play guitar.Those albums I listened to over and over singing to them! tone Raven-guitar/voc(We Are The Black Things)
Also the record with J Z is right there with em,Killer!

The new song Fighting myself sounds like pt 2 of hit the floor off meteora!! Also kinda creepy listening to the lyrics bc the song is about thinking about un aliving yourself knowing what happened..
