I love how calm and cuddly your horses are whilst stabled. No stress! I also try to mimic as natural a way as possible to keep my horses and it excites me to see someone competing at the top keep her horses in such a way! Like they say if you keep em like rich people you gotta be prepared for the rich people diseases.
Hi Fallon, speaking of Cody.... I just got out of surgery about 6 hours ago 😵💫 I'm a tad older than you (60+) doesn't matter.....love you and everything you stand for 👆 and just wanted to thank you for making my painful 1st day of recovery easier. Last thing "Unfiltered Series" BEST" IVE EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE ❤️ Blessings always ❤️🙌 Jennifer
I LOVE the back to nature feeding regimen. And I love that you made a video to inspire others to do their research and consider if they are actually doing what's best for their animals. Your videos are a joy to watch. Big love from Alabama!!
Flos a go-go is my name idea if you have a name list (I’m sure you do 😂😂) and if you like it 😊 The horses look great! I love that you put so much thought and effort into finding what you think is best for your horse’s well being 😊
I was so happy when you said you got rid of grain!🙌🏻 If anyone does end up supplementing for what the hay lacks check out custom equine nutrition. I have an extensive background in equine nutrition and it took me years to find this supplement (I was looking into creating my own). I’m not affiliated with them- just love their product. I don’t trust 95% of supplements out there. 😊
Speaking from experience with multiple horses, breeds, disciplines, etc. feeding hay below chest height and storing hay above stalls causes all sorts of eye and breathing problems because the dust and chaff gets airborne and they inhale it. My horse used to cough during exercise some, not really bad but talked to the vet. She came to look at how we fed, hay storage, etc. All I changed was moved hay to the ground instead of hay rack, moved hay storage so it wasn't in loft over the stalls. Was night and day difference in not only our horse's breathing but they also started performing better as well. Truly an easy quick fix with big results!
I do jumping but love to watch your videos! My barrel racing friend said I should watch your english videos but I find your vlogs way more fun. I can watch a horse jump decently good any day on my fyp, but it is rare for me to see a barrel horse who looks so nice on the pattern as all of your horses (you don't push them hard on a pattern until they are ready which works out better in the long run plus they get all the care in the world after)! I love that all your horses live a good quality of life and will still win!
Feeding down low also helps with teeth alignment 😊 I've been feeding like this for years and happy that you're making this a normal thing to do. I also only feed Timothy, second crop, and alfalfa.
JUST CURIOUS. Those tall feeders ... with their heads down in that narrow, closed-in space feeding, do the horses breathe in a lot of hay dust and particles? I see the feeding benefit, but later on are there any respiratory repercussions?
Your horses are absolutely gorgeous. I love watching you and your buddy, Cody, ride. It's such a beautiful site to behold. Cody, you're doing amazing for be up riding after a surgery. You're in my prayers.
You can tell by the horses behavior towards Fallon that they are truly happy and are comforted by her. That’s how you know y’all!!!! That’s how you know.
I agree with you Fallon Cody is doing a great job. I also love how your horse seems so happy and well cared for. I would have to agree they don't look like they are going hungry they're all so beautiful. I sure do thank you and Cody for letting me come along with you guys on your adventures to different rodeos. May God continue to bless you all humans and animals for your blessing and a joy to watch.
The registered name spelling of GeauxLo caught my eye initially because I'm Cajun, and that looks natural to us. But it will be interesting to see how Fallon spells it when entering her in competitions. She might spell it as Go-Lo just so the announcers can say it right. lol
I’m just not learning how to barrel race and I’m loving it so far and ur someone who I really look up to I saw barrel racing one day and I knew I had to do it
I’ve been completely grain free for a year now however I’m going to start adding in a small amount of whole oats into my horses feed as an experiment to see if it entices the birds to break up their manure piles in field 😊
Thank you for the amazing inspiring video today Fallon Taylor and Codi 🥰 I have important question Are you coming to Arizona this year to do some runs and please let me know ? I really want to meet you this year 2023 . I love you Fallon Taylor and your amazing horses and you do take amazing great care of them .
From an equine body workers perspective, feeding from the ground as much as possible, is so beneficial for the horses. When you feed them consistently up high, you are forcing the spine into extension and causing the back muscles to contract. This develops what is seen as a hollow back (lack of muscle on the top line) and consistent hollowing of the back (spinal extension) could possibly eventually cause kissing spines. What happens with kissing spines is there is either too much movement between the spinal processes or they start rubbing together from too much extension and the body says oh no, that doesn’t feel right, so it starts the process known as bone remodeling. The bone remodeling is what you see occurring between the spinous process. It is also very important to work on their abdominal strength, because strong abdominals lead to a strong back, which can also help prevent some kissing spines. 😊
Ok I am gonna need some more GoLo Love soon.. SOOOO Excited for her. I have Always been a huge fan of Lolo. She's always had my ❤️. Thicker the mare the better for Wagon imho. Big n Thick.👍🏻🤠💞
Hey does anyone know the name / brand of those large black poly corner feeders that are in the stables? I am I Aus so need to know so I can search to see if they are available in Aus ❣️❣️
@@fallontaylor I thought about that too but didn't know whether Air (or Heir) would be the new colt/stud's barn name. And in case it wasn't, thought it would suit any Flo's Heiress colt. Thanks for your reply. 💗
How many embryos do you flush each season? I hear some try for as many as they can get and others just a few because that's best for the mare. Just curious on your opinion, I've been flushing my mare a few years but never know the amount we should try to get and what's best for her.
I've never used a haynett in my 20 on and off years around horses, I don't understand the reason. I prefer waterbuckets on the floor, but can be difficult if the horses spill it. Is there a reason Baby Flo can't foal herself now if she is retired? I bet she would love to beca mommy.
I prefer not to use hay nets but some horses need to be slowed down with their eating…. We also have a pony who likes to wee in his hay unless it’s in a hay net
My guess re: Baby Flo not foaling herself is too much risk involved with such a loved and valuable horse. Also, she mentioned a stone the size of a baseball being removed from her which would probably endanger her if her belly were to swell with a pregnancy. Just my opinion.
She has mentioned some reasons in earlier videos. One is that BabyFlo had stomach surgery in the past, which would put her at high risk for complications. Plus, considering the value of BabyFlo (both monetary and emotional attachment), there's really no reason to put her through the potential risks associated with pregnancy and giving birth.
Yea, Perry has gotten really "weird" about a lot of things in the last couple of years. We live near there and my son barrel races there alot and we have been disappointed in some of their changes. I don't know if not letting family in the rodeo is a new thing but it wouldnt surprise me...don't get me wrong I am so happy we have this Ag center but sometimes these things are frustrating.
I was wondering if he was for sale, I see him breaking arena records. I wish Codi could ride him again when she feels ready. I would duct tape my butt to the seat and hold on especially the 3rd barrel, lol
Is there anyway that you could put me in your ranch dressing commercial? I love RanchDressin so so much and I would buy everything off that website if I could.

Yay for you understanding the benefits of natural movement and incorporating it in down low feeding. Genius!
It’s also better to feed your horse on the ground or closer to because it effects the way their teeth wear

For BABY FLO BABY -- What about barn name "AIR" ? (as in "Heir", but pronounceable by announcers) ... if you know, you know. ❤
I already have an “heir to the flo” He’s an upcoming stallion out of epic leader :)

I would love a paint horse that knows how to barrel race. What price range do you sell horses for?

I was literally in David 3 weeks ago😂
Do you keep the recipiant mare at your barn? Who owns the receipiant mares that carries baby flo babies or others

Why do you use the inline filter? I hope you post the water test results.
