Admittedly she is one of my favourites!! She’s got a lot of character. We made them a paddling pool during the heatwave and she goes in it!

So interesting. I am from Canada, and our stables are built so differently. We have to deal with a lot of snow, so having stalls opening onto a yard doesn’t work as well. Mine open onto a alley down the middle of a barn. Love the history in all the old buildings.

I have an idea 💡! 😂 instead of turning one of your big indoor barns into a stable block just turn it in to an indoor arena! By just putting flooring down

Have you thought of keeping your horses on wood pellets?
One of them is on wood pellets now actually! Yes we’ve thought about it but I don’t think they make very comfortable beds🙈 and we like to brush out the stables everyday but with pellets you kinda leave the wee until it surfaces. Possibly an option for the future but we buy our straw from someone very local! Xxxx pellets are very satisfying though
