I'm in the process of researching how to start a home-based catering business, and I was just wondering how to get started. I'd like to know how do you decide how/what to charge per job/per item? What resources, as far as cottage laws, business insurance, tax laws, etc, did you use in researching and planning your business? How do you store your inventory in such a small space? Did you start out financing yourself, or did you go to a bank, family, etc, and how much did you invest in start up cost? Those are just a few questions I would love to know, as I'm trying to start a small home-based business myself. Thanks for the videos, they've been very helpful to me. Do you make great profit?
Decent! I work really hard to keep my ingredient and packaging costs down! Cakes and pastries have better profits than bread.
I wouldn't cook in the same clothing that I sat on my couch with or near a cat. None of that seems sanitary.
That’s why I film my intro after I’m done cooking 😉
