  • After testing Novak’s morning routine, I wanted to delve more into the routines and habits of other greats, and who better to follow up with than Roger Federer?!
    In this video I test his warmup from start to finish and share my thoughts on what it was like!
    Every exercise in this routine can easily be added to your own routines!
    Let me know who and what you’d like me to test out in my next video?
    🙏Thanks to Andrew for his help in the video, go follow his insta: @palmer_coaching

    Excellent format and great idea! Can you do Nole's of Rafa's?...if they ever published anything regarding their warmups..players tend to be secretive on this. Thanks again for this excellent content!

    I like the variety of the warmups. What sort of balls were you using? Light medicine balls?

    • @TheTennisMentor
      @TheTennisMentor  11 місяців тому +1

      Roger was using volleyballs, we were using similar multi sports balls (not weighted)

    The Fed warm-up was interesting. I'm thinking he changed the activity often to keep from getting bored. I'm sure training can be a grind, seems like a way to get the work in and try to change attention to keep things fresh.

    • @TheTennisMentor
      @TheTennisMentor  11 місяців тому +2

      Yes, I definitely think that plays a part! Pierre did a really great job keeping his sessions fresh! 22+ years of working with the same player is a testament to his coaching!!

      You could do nearly the whole thing together, you’d only need to adapt the volleyball games (easily done with a third ball)
