We pack a bottle of pickle juice up to elk camp because we hike 10+ miles a day in the Idaho mountains. Haven't had cramping problems scents we started drinking it at camp.
That EW 1783 is good stuff. In my opinion it may be the best bottle you got. The tequila is ok. It's more of a neat bottle than great tequila at its price point in my area. Looks like you had a great time and this video concept is great. Wish more people would look at the lower cost stuff and give us a review of it.
Lol! Ohio is a different state to hunt in for sure! I love the fixed pricing and the website that helps you somewhat figure out where a bottle may be, when we hunt in some other states it is completely different, the asking prices can get a bit crazy tho!
This reminds me of the commercial with the raccoons...." taste this , it's like a burnt chutney...." My 93 yr old friend and I play this game ....amazing how many 'sink pours we have! Good stuff folks. I like the enthusiasm!
Heaven Hill is usually allocated in Ohio I thought, so not bad. Benchmark is great for the price! Know this is a bourbon channel but myself and others would probably appreciate a quick glance at the scotch section please. Nice video tho thanks for the upload!
Evan Williams BIB, Benchmark Full Proof, Wild Turkey 101, Early Times BIB. These are all very good pours and all around $25 and under. These are the go to budget bourbons!
Some of these are decent juice but many are drain pours. Headache in a bottle with the Kentucky gentleman. The 1783 is good. The rebel is very palate dependent I’ve seen various reviews I personally go for the coopers craft 100 here in northeast Ohio it is 31 dollars. But I have a few bottles of it and will get more. Good luck with this tasting.
Im in Dayton and its a bourbon desert as far as unicorn stuff. You cant even find a regualr bottle of Buffalo Trace. However, Benchmark is a great bourbon for the price. Especially the Full Proof. Hard to find in ohio but right across the river into KY and they have a bunch. Great bourbon for $22
HEY R&C, Loved this episode. Pretty funny stuff for sure. Btw..Bring all the crap bottles to the lake when you guys come up. You know "who" can have those bottles while I pour us the good stuff😂
The best of the cheapos is Benchmark and comes from Buffalo Trace, been mixing it for years. They used to have a brown sugar and peach flavor as well. Brown sugar was good. It's funny that they found a way to legally bottle rubbing alcohol and, of course; that's Beams 8 Star. It's the worst I've ever had and is also the only whiskey I've ever poured down the drain. If you cross the border into Indiana, everything gets 10-20% cheaper. Good video.
Thanks!!! The benchmark products we have had are fantastic especially for the price,, lol now I’m a touch worried to open the beam 8 Star ⭐️ ,, if it’s no good for drinking wonder how good it would be for cleaning the toilet? 🤔 …. Thanks for visiting the Camp 🥃
@@liquorcamp honestly, I had it around 10 years ago? I couldn't even mix it 3:1/4:1 with coke it was so bad. I even threw the bottle away. ;) Benchmark has always been better, imho, than all of them for cheapo. The brown sugar made one helluva sweet 1/2 and 1/2 but it was good.
My brother in law is visiting New York in September is there store in central New York that sell all the varieties of crown royal hopefully in litres bottle content as he will take back to Scotland What’s the price in dollars
We did do a video with Brewzle but other than that, if you’re in the Southwest Ohio area you may have seen him around. Maybe he just has one of those faces 😏.
Those are all great ones! We have those here along with a few others that make the cut. So when we dive into the budget bottles we will make sure those go into the mix.. and 19.99 for 101 is a great price! It’s $25 here 🥃
The Benchmark is what I used to buy in college. It was the bottle that got me interested in Bourbon. Now they have a whole new line, which is nostalgic for me. Great bottle for the price.
Wait, people just buy pickle juice without pickles in it?
All the time! And it’s fantastic 🥃 best part no floaties to deal with
Just ordered a bottle of woodinville cask strength because of you! Thanks Brewzle. I’m in Washington so it’s neat exploring local distillery’s
Actually, many athletes buy pickle juice because is stops legs cramping on the football field for example
Interesting! That makes sense 😊 and you may be onto something I don’t get leg cramps 🥃

This is nice to know about someone new to the community. Thank you.
We will find the best of the bottom!
Love Arrow Wine & Spirits! Thursdays are good days for Weller Special Reserve and others.
Nice! Sounds like a Thursday visit is in order 😊

Thanks for the comment and watching! We completely agree! Have not gotten into the tequila yet but soon 😀
Holy cow that bar is beautiful!
Thank you!! It’s been fun putting it all together! Little by little.. we will have to put together a bar build video.. we did 99% of it ourselves
As an Ohioan bourbon hunter for over 20 years, I clearly enjoy the disappointment of bourbon chasing.

God’s way of keeping us from going broke!

Right!! We can always donate it to a local collage frat house 😂
That hero edition Evan Williams is super tasty and big house is great easy drinker.
Nice thanks for the feedback!! And thanks for hanging with us 😊

Thanks for watching and we def love scotch as well so we’ll try to make a point next time to include them.
That Rebel 100 is great.
Awesome! Can’t wait to crack it open. We haven’t quite gotten to all of them yet, but was excited about that one from the beginning. Stay tuned.
Evan Williams BIB, Benchmark Full Proof, Wild Turkey 101, Early Times BIB. These are all very good pours and all around $25 and under. These are the go to budget bourbons!
Agree 💯
My new lower price point bourbon is Bowman Brothers small batch. I was surprised I liked it so well. I would pick that over buffalo Trace hands down!
Haven’t enjoyed Bowman Brothers in a while. Gonna def have to revisit it since you recommend it so highly.
1783 is a very good dram for an easy price. I always buy the 1.75. Comes in at $35 dollars in my market.
Thanks! We are getting ready to dive into the bottles soon very excited to try 1783 🥃 and that is a great price!

Thanks! And thanks for joining us 🥃 and you are not wrong now we need to figure what todo with some of these lol..
Kentucky Gentleman is awful. Not a fan of it even as a mixer, Great video and good hunting
Thanks for the heads up. Haven’t opened it yet. We’ll be getting into all of them soon. What is your favorite inexpensive-ish bourbon?
Tom Sims 80 abv if you can find it is another Heaven Hill product and quite good at an attractive price,
Wow thanks! Never seen or heard of that one 😊 doesn’t look like it’s available in Ohio so we will watch for it when we head out of the state!

Completely agree! Bourbon hunting in Ohio can be challenging to say the least. Good thing KY is close enough to make the drive for sure!
When’s the next one coming out?!?!
Very soon!
HEY R&C, Loved this episode. Pretty funny stuff for sure. Btw..Bring all the crap bottles to the lake when you guys come up. You know "who" can have those bottles while I pour us the good stuff😂
That's A plan! Hahaha 🤣 🥃

@@MrClad 10 years and you remember that well it must be bad hahaha..
Great video! I had to use Google to figure out what a pickleback shot was......I'm a rookie, don't judge :)
Never any judgement here lol!! If you like pickles it’s a fun shot and tasty 🥃 thanks for commenting and watching 😊
Any chance shipping some crown royal to Scotland
Near impossible to get over here it’s hard to accept why Diageo don’t supply here
We wish! not ready for that legal paperwork lol
My brother in law is visiting New York in September is there store in central New York that sell all the varieties of crown royal hopefully in litres bottle content as he will take back to Scotland
What’s the price in dollars
I just picked up an Antique 107 🤔
Awesome!! It’s been running around southwest Ohio I need to get out and find some 🥃
I'm drinking benchmark right now
Never disappoints 😊🥃
Have I seen your husband on someone’s else’s channel? He just looks familiar.
We did do a video with Brewzle but other than that, if you’re in the Southwest Ohio area you may have seen him around. Maybe he just has one of those faces 😏.
🥰🥰🥰👍👍👍👍
I can still find Wild Turkey 101 for $19.99 and Evan Williams Bottled in Bond for less, and Evan Williams Extra-Aged for under $13 🤔

Nope, Kentucky Gentlemen is not great. Good luck!
Lol you are not wrong! Hahaha

Benchmark is great! For the price it’s so so hard to beat.. we Love some cheap Bourbon 🥃
Why?
Because it was there 🥃
Life’s to short to buy cheap booze
Lol! But some of my best memories include cheap booze! Is it a memory if someone has to tell me the next day what happened? 😀🥃
