When I think of my response to that line I veer rapidly between "no one has more hate in their head than me" and "I have excorcised all hatred from my being"
Avi has several other lines in his songs that simply perfect. One that springs to mind is: "Wherever you are now, I hope you will forget / the flaws i had before because i haven't lost them yet" (from: I Don't Want to Hurt You)
it adds to the feeling of absolute dread and despair a big bad villian feels at the end as its apporached by a monster it created knowing in absolutey no way was he supeiror to what it had created even in the levels of hate and spite it felt.
for me that's "Fear confined to the depths of my mind, for what could be such a threat to me, the conqueror of time?". Perfectly encapsulates the miniscule nature of a villain who thinks themselves immortal but subconsciously knows that their days are well and truly numbered.
My favourite is "Don't let her see your power in the daylight / Don't let her see it when you bring the storm / To the master of the eldritch she's a growing bed of thorns" and honestly for similar reasons like this all powerful being afraid to use its powers is a really interesting concept

I tried to make a story line based off the four albums (Stargazers, Dystopian Fiction, Godhunter, Building Better Worlds). Enjoy. (Based off lyrics, lore, and speculation.) Stargazers is mainly about the war. We don’t know when it was, but it happened. In mankind, there rose up men who were merged with machines to become beings known as "The Ascended". The Ascended were more than human. They became powerful, unstoppable, immortal. They may have even been able to travel through time, at least a one-way backwards (based off “Signed on for a Sequel, where it states “When the 21 century arrives”). This power seems to have come from The Watcher: "He's been given a warning from a visitor who gave him his power long ago", "From the watcher unseen /Now he warned me she'll come to take his due" (Godhunter lore/lyrics). As to "why" he did this, I will attempt to discover this later. But anyway, one way or another, the Ascended rose to power. They became government leaders. But they wanted full power, and so they declared war. First they bombed and decimated their opponents, turning cities into wastelands. A huge, giant war that caused the water to be red with blood, and blood ran through the streets like running red water. Then, they fooled the people. They made them forget that they were once men, and were worshiped and feared as gods. The Ascended were in control. Dystopian Fiction is after the war. It starts with the song “Exodus”, and it is aptly named. Miami was hit with a massive exodus after the Ascended ordered the city to be firebombed, which happened at midnight (Whenever it Rains). The lucky ones escaped. After that, the city became known as “Bleeding Sun”, because the fire fell so heavily it looked as though the sun had bled upon it. The people wanted to overthrow, but how could they? These were immortal gods, and the people still worshiped them as such. But then they found out the truth behind these “gods”: they used to be men (Rogue assumedly told them, but more about her later). The religion that helped keep the Ascended in power crumbled. They were still powerful and immortal, but they were still once men. The people had an anthem to give them hope (Dystopian Fiction). They began to unite against the Ascended, under the leadership of a young woman. However, not all Ascended are evil. Now for the complicated bit. 1) The Godhunter/Hunter: she is the young woman leading the uprising against the Ascended. When she was younger, she witnessed the horrors of the Ascended government: the war, the slaughter, the innocent lives lost. She couldn’t do anything about it, but then she became Ascended. She infiltrated the tyrants who had taken over Bleeding Sun (the Keepers), who trapped the survivors inside the city like a prison, encouraged the name “Bleeding Sun” as a warning against revolution, and used their god status to keep people in line. (Side note, central Miami is called “Kingdom Come”, where the leaders live). She hid her nature and became the leader of the human revolution. She used her position inside Kingdom Come to infiltrate their strongholds. She killed the gods. She saw humanity rejoice and build better worlds (the entire album is about rejection tyranny and rebuilding). However, she is immortal. She sees humanity rise up, start a war, rebuild, start a war, rise up... She finally saw that humanity would never learn. This hopelessness, plus the centuries she had lived and the lives she had seen lost led her to want to stop hunting, because during this entire time she has been stamping out any Ascended that threaten to relive the past “Ascended Dynasty” (as I just decided to call it). But eventually, she changes from not wanting to hunt, to wanting to finally die, but being unable to due to her Ascension, and so she waits for the end of the world to see if she will finally have peace. (I have been told she is the one with the gun, according to DeviantArt.) 2) The Traveler: Not much is known about him, as he was just given a name in Godhunter. However, what we don’t know, we can speculate. We do know for certain that he is Ascended, and seems to have been pushed into the past, based on the phrasing “At the beginning of The Traveler’s journey through time”. His story starts in a village on a stormy night, where he is about to witness the 100-year breach. This is a breach caused by evil magic, which allows the dead to rise for one night. Obviously a bad thing for that village, though luckily there is only “one breach every hundred years”. It never states it, but it can be assumed he broke the spell. From there it is unknown what he does, but we know he has watched innocent lives lost to war, and mourned them (based off Whenever It Rains). This mourning presumably means he fought to stop the Ascended, and I speculate he is the mysterious “Ascended” in “No More Heros” who kills any being that may become more powerful than the Hunter, the one who killed the gods that caused such death. Unfortunately, this can’t undo the last and the one he loved is dead, killed in a firebombing, probably the one that caused Bleeding Sun (based on “I’d tell you I’m sorry I’d walk through the flames”). As he continues, he realises the world is about to end, and he wonders if he can truly die, despite his ascension. (I have been told he is the one on the far left, according to DeviantArt.) 3) The Rogue: Another one who was just named in Godhunter, so much is unknown, but, again, we can assume the capability to time-travel (“A god traveling through history”). The Rogue fights for truth, and opposes those who lie to the people. Her fight is different though: she fights with words, by spreading the truth. In the age of technology, she has sworn to oppose all enemies to truth, which sets her against the tyrannical Ascended, who lie to the people to keep power. It was presumably her who revealed their true nature to the prisoners of Bleeding Sun, which led to the revolution of The Hunter. However, by the time of the revolution, truth is all-but dead, killed by the lies of the Ascended. After seeing this, she gave a final warning: the path of lies lead to war. It can be assumed she joined in the revolution of The Hunter, seeing as how she was partially responsible for it, and, judging by the album cover, traveled with The Hunter and Traveler to kill all the “gods”. We don’t know what happens to her, but it is likely that she, too, awaits death. (I have been told she is the one with the bow, according to DeviantArt.). 4) The Watcher: he has been around for a very, very long time, since before the 4-part album story arc. The Watcher does what his name implies: he watched humanity. I can’t say he is Ascended, because he is mentioned by the creature in “Far Side” (a song about an actual demon trying to trick you into going to hell), and in “The Watcher”, where is the one who leads people in limbo to heaven or hell. In fact, he seems to be a type of judge, coming for those who he deems worthy of death (I’ll forgive the death you’ve earned/The cities you’ve burned). But all the same, he exists, he is immortal, and he is ancient. The Watcher, whatever he is, does not trust humanity, presumably due to him watching “the slaughter of billions across the Earth”. In fact, he seems to be the one who started the Ascended, as mentioned previously. The only reason that seems to make sense for this is that The Watcher's distrust of humanity made him desire to place other beings, who have a share of his power, in charge of humanity, rather than humanity itself. However, his actions led to the end of the world. Due to the evil he created, and his presumable dislike of evil (I'll forgive the death you've earned/the cities you've burned), The Watcher ascended The Hunter, The Rogue, and The Traveler to kill the gods in an attempt to undo the mess he had made, as he refuses to interfere. However, as he sees the world about to end in war, he steps forward. “As the only god with the power to take action”, he approaches the last leader of humanity with a deal. This is a huge occasion, as The Watcher not only doesn’t trust man, but also made it a rule that he won’t interfere (“Now I’ve broken all the rules I’ve written”). He brought he last human leader to his domain in limbo (“Just to bring you to this cold fort between/your ailing home and afterlife’s wither”). He makes a deal to save humanity, and the Earth: he’ll grant his soul, his power, to the leader, if he leads humanity to something better. The Watcher will ascend the leader to save the world. It seems that The Watcher needs humanity to exist: “To the last home/of civilisation/without which I’m gone”). This makes sense, given that, if there is no humanity to go to limbo, there is no need for a gatekeeper of limbo. Thus, he will strive to keep humanity alive, so he may survive. While the leader rebuilds, The Watcher will wait in a castle by the sea, presumably in limbo. However, there is one catch: if the leader becomes corrupted, if he fails, The Watcher will return for him. (He is the one on the far right by the pillar.) The man in the middle clutching the arrow is the last god, who wrote the warning of “Godhunter”. So... what'd you think?
On DeviantArt characters are listed in the description of тhe cover (from left to right): Traveler, Hunter, Elder, Rogue, Watcher. So Godhunter has gun (and she is on the DF cover) and Rogue has bow (I'm sure they are one on the FOTS cover too).
I relistened to this song sometime after replaying Morrowind and couldn't help not thinking of that game's plot when listening to this. Glad I'm not the only one haha
For newcomers to the Bleeding Sun Universe, This image depicts The Elder the Master of the Ascended, The Watcher the Reaper, The Godhunter, The Traveler, and The Rogue. The Ascended are in laymen’s terms, a group of swamp cultists who have become god the the Elder as their leader, and the city known as The Bleeding Sun is just a some how more dystopian Miami. It’s awesome :D
I love to think about Hollow Knight when I hear this song. The player is literally a god hunter. I have so many ideas for what could be used in like, a video made with this song. I love it! I also think the narrator could be the Pale King, possibly as some sort of spirit or dying god that is invisible to the dream nail, watching over the ruins of his kingdom.
It fits pretty well for Hollow Knight. It also reminds me of the Metroid Prime Trilogy from Dark Samus' perspective: Samus is the Godhunter, and Dark Samus is the last god to fall.
As the man spoke, the people around him grew more nervous. They tried to keep to themselves, focusing on their drinks, while the man continued to boast of his greatness and power. He must not have been from around here. Moments later, to no one’s surprise, the man went too far. “As a matter of fact, I am so strong and powerful, I’m practically immortal! I may as well be a god!” A hush fell over the bar. Then, without warning, there was an icy breeze, and a mark appeared above the man’s head. A symbol made of light. No one knew what it meant, and yet everyone knew _exactly_ what it meant. A chill ran down his spine, and a voice only he could hear whispered in his ear. “You have declared yourself more than mortal. A god. Now, you have been marked. Run, but know that you cannot hide. The godhunter is coming for you.”
The one singing is a Lich! Definitely a lich! Edit: "When you're sinful to the bone, unholy" What's more unholy than a lich? "When you've power of your making" Yeah, liches do that "and you've claimed yourself a throne, like me" Yeah they do that too sometimes Plus the singer seems to be immortal, and liches are that too!
R. Kapra I think the song is from the perspective of the one who made the deal with the Watcher in A Castle on the Sea (because the Watcher is mentioned here to have said that the Godhunter is coming to take his due, not her own, which I assume is referring to his ‘Godsoul’ which he gave up in aCotS.). Not that that precludes him being a lich, of course.
I actually started DM'ing a homebrew campaign a while back, and one of my players introduced me to this song. It fit SO well with an NPC accompanying the group, as she is the daughter of a death goddess (Daughter of the Reaper) sent to prevent an Eldritch deity from ending the world, constantly being a thorn in the side of said deity using the curses placed on her by said deity to mess with their cults. The girl also has Lichlike status despite having flesh, and is vampiric, growing more powerful with each cultful of throats slit open. She *was* destroyed by a priestess, but revived when the party got caught up in the fray, and their quest is to help her grow back to full power so they can march unto the heart of Darkness. The only problem is that the kings of pretty much every kingdom have been warped by the influence of the cults and are out to stop them, but the family of the "Godhunter" stands behind them, in with strength in numbers, they will literally face the armies of the eldritch in order to restore the balance of existence, slaughtering rogue gods seeking to recreate reality in their image, and I'm allowing the party to level up to 20 in 3 different classes, and 1 custom class tailored to their skills once they progress the story, to face level 80 abominations that eat Tarrasques for lunch. My characters have called me out for playing the "power fantasy" card but at least they have the opportunity to share and revel in that fantasy. How often do you get to see level 55 sorceresses impale Black Dragons on the fountains of a manor house for fun?
@@onionninja7580 It's my first attempt at DM'ing so I admit I'm still getting the hang of things. I just threw the level 7 party up against a level 20 Oathbreaker Paladin as a boss fight and nobody died, so... yeah.

Your music is always so evocative, and this is just another excellent example. Wonderful work, Aviators!
Well, if I remember right, these are based off of DnD sessions. So it makes sense that you'd get some world building/story vibes. I'm not all that knowledgable with tabletop RPG's, so I might've gotten the game wrong.
Alright, i know this song is about the creators DND session, but... Why does this song seem to fit the story of Elder scrolls: Morrowind? Because Azura talks to you in your sleep in the beginning of the game, and in the end you basically kill a God? Idk, ignore me, im obsessed with Elder Scrolls as of late.
This song fits my DND character perfectly. She was a paladin/Templar/Inquisitor who slowly became disgusted with the gods over the course of the campaign. The gods would enforce their laws on the realm of man but when push came to shove the only ones who would put a stop to the big bad was man, gods couldn't give the slightest shit. When the campaign narrative was over and we were in epic levels she lead a campaign against the gods and daemon lords slowly killing them all with the express intent of putting the material realm into the hands of the people who inhabit it.

To be honest, this song has inspired me enough to write a book. I call it Godhunters and Dragonhunters, and I'm almost done with the first book. Although in my story, the titular Godhunter is male, yet this song was definitely an inspiration. Watch the novel market folks...
I absolutely adore the hooded man on the cover, like he's built up the "god" and he was reaping the benefits then when it comes time for his fall he fades away into the background to look for another puppet.
by the way that is the watcher aka death the grim reaper in another song in this album after a apocolyptic war death agreed to give his power to the elder with the stipulation he use it to save humanity and life for if everything died so would death himself the elder quickly grew drunk on his power and went back on his deal with death instead splitting some of his power and giving it to his followers making them immortal then he began to rule over the remaing humans as gods then began to kill them off till the godhunters wiped out every last follower of his then he himself.

I love this song so much, up there with Paralyzed as my favorite. It probably helps that a few of the lines feel pulled out of the story I'm trying to write. "Daughter of the Reaper has been searching for the Keeper" I know it's all based on dystopian fiction, but that line has so much in it for me... Considering one of my characters is the daughter of someone with the title of The Reaper, and I have a character who lives in his own world out of time where he can manipulate it named Keeper. I'll admit I haven't used one of them in forever, but this song like many others gives me inspiration to go back and continue my writing, these songs have helped me so much when I've been stumped as for what to write.
I love the style of this song, it turned out so well! Thanks for letting me and many others on the Discord be a part of the crowd, it makes the song sound so much bigger!

He’s also blink-and-you’ll-miss-it mentioned in The Far Side from Howling at the Moon (“Have you seen the Watcher’s castle full of ice?/It’s a comforting hold for the wandering souls to stay.”). And A Castle on the Sea from Godhunter is actually from his perspective (the Bandcamp description mentions him and it seems very fitting)- I think in the Godhunter lyrics about “Dreams of a being and the Watcher unseen/and he told me she’ll come to take his due”, the “due” in question is the Godsoul he gave up in A Castle on the Sea. He’s my favorite character too, mainly for how mysterious he is. As per the song’s description “The Watcher has seen the slaughter of billions across the Earth from war, and as the only god with the power to take action he strikes a deal with the last leader of humanity. If he gives his soul to this mortal, the ascended one must use its power to lead humanity to a brighter future. Of course, a deal with The Watcher should not be taken lightly...” and all its talk about a Godsoul, he seems to be a power beyond the Ascended/whatever you want to call the ‘gods’ the Godhunter hunts (and is). And he seems to be associated with death, or at least some kind of afterlife, as well as dreams (His castle on the sea is “a bastion only seen in your dreams” and he appears to the singer of Godhunter in their dreams.) And that’s really all we know about him. I love it; he’s one of the main things I like to think about in the Bleeding Sun/Ascended universe, along with the Godhunter (Speaking of whom, what is with that “daughter of the Reaper” line! The Watcher seems kind of Death-like... is the Watcher meant to be the Reaper? Is the Godhunter the daughter? The “keeper” mentioned immediately thereafter could also be her (No More Heroes from Dystopian Fiction has lines about the “keepers of the Bleeding Sun”, as well as “the immortal angel’s child”) though.), and what on Earth the timeline for this story-universe looks like, especially considering the time travel involved (Signed on for a Sequel, and I think one or more others I can’t remember right now). But anyway, another important question: what happened to the Watcher post/during No More Heroes?
@@spenserc.4376 it implies he dies with the god in this video basically as death the grimm reaper the eternal WATCHER the person that brings people to heaven or hell if all humanity dies he dies as there no reason to farry souls that dont exist so he made a final gambit to attempt to save what was left of humanity despite his distrust of them by going to the last leader of humanity this guy and gave him his soul and power in exchange he was supposed to save the world and redeem himself from the petty tyrant he was instead he feel into arrogance and madness trying to hasten the death of all non ascended so it just be the immortal left as said in the song to late for a saviour so when the godhunter killes him death goes with him to the other side though the "god" probably goes to hell and watcher to heaven as hes is a angel despite not looking like it
I swear, every time I think I've worn an album to the bone, another rises to feed the monster. This is the best. You're the best. I LOVE HAVING MY EXPECTATIONS EXCEEDED!
Ok so I have a story idea here. A pantheon of gods each one representing a figment of our world. For example war, death or time. This pantheon were once mortal people who "earned" their God hood and then decided to destroy death to make themselves immortal, then the daughter of death goes on a killing spree of the gods. Kratos style. The final gods is the god of time, the one who planned the original killing of death.
During square dancing today, I plugged in my headphones and listen to this album. Let's just say square dancing to Pop Cult Crucifixion is far better than Cotton Eye Joe. This album? Phenomenal. One of your best.
I have to say this right now. This song is basically the theme song of a character I roleplay as in an MMORPG named Karigan Gyren. Karigan (born Aduna Kegethi) is basically a lawful neutral character, an assassin turned mercenary/bounty hunter. Kari/Aduna was raised up by freedom fighters who were killed by minions of a tyrannical "God-King". She's one of those tough-as-nails women, with a soft side to those she cares about, including her own daughter and husband. And this song definitely defines and describes her as a person. So I wanna say thank you for writing this song!
Bought the album before I even heard it. That’s how much faith I have in you, my friend! The album is absolutely GORGEOUS and I still cannot believe that you produce such amazing music, yet barely get any recognition. I love you, Avi! Keep up the amazing work!
I love the slightly alternative time signature. I've never even dabbled in fantasy rock before but your music makes me want to abandon all other genres for a couple months until I emerge from my months of solitude with an entire album
This song strangely fits in perfectly to a story I've been working on for 3 years. There is even a character called the Black Coat, who is an immortal being who is destined to watch over time for all of eternity, until he is visited by a strange spirit at the end of time who finally puts him to rest. This video was recommended to me by a friend who noticed the similarities.

I love this song so much because it's so complex, I'm trying to learn the lyrics but by the time I get to the end I have to re listen because the ending is so different from the beginning that I forget how it goes.
Well now that I've seen this I'm inspired. Something of the sort of killing gods might not work for the one I'm currently writing, but I've already thought about potential sequels and such.

Awesome music yet again. For some reason with some of these songs in this setting a get a Warhammer 40k vibe, like the origin of the imperium and chaos space Marines type of feel.
It is ridiculous how much I think of Medieval roleplaying games like D&D, Pathfinder, and a multitude of others. These lyrics just create a awesome villain concept and adventure story hooks. When I think of my response to that line I veer rapidly between "no one has more hate in their head than me" and "I have excorcised all hatred from my being"

This sounds like a story based off of a D&D campaign these guys play... and I love it.
That's like every single song!
OMG RIGHT!!! THAT IS WHAT I THOUGHT!!!
It sounds like its based off my current D&D character it's weirdly accurate
Is literally the theme of an NPC in my campaign.
I was watching Critical Role then went on finding D&D related song and end up finding "The Traveler Song" and I liked it but this song made me subscribe and listen to their songs
I tried to make a story line based off the four albums (Stargazers, Dystopian Fiction, Godhunter, Building Better Worlds). Enjoy. (Based off lyrics, lore, and speculation.)
Stargazers is mainly about the war.
This power seems to have come from The Watcher: "He's been given a warning from a visitor who gave him his power long ago", "From the watcher unseen
/Now he warned me she'll come to take his due" (Godhunter lore/lyrics).
(I have been told she is the one with the gun, according to DeviantArt.)
2) The Traveler: Not much is known about him, as he was just given a name in Godhunter.
(I have been told he is the one on the far left, according to DeviantArt.)
3) The Rogue: Another one who was just named in Godhunter, so much is unknown, but, again, we can assume the capability to time-travel (“A god traveling through history”).
(He is the one on the far right by the pillar.)
The man in the middle clutching the arrow is the last god, who wrote the warning of “Godhunter”.
So... what'd you think?
That sounds pretty awesome, It definitely fits what we've heard so far

"When you've power of your making" Yeah, liches do that
"and you've claimed yourself a throne, like me" Yeah they do that too sometimes

I understand that, Aviators' music is marvelous for putting your mind at ease when you're feeling really bad. I recommend you checking "October Sunset" if you haven't already.
I remember when Apocalypse State of Mind was released and just in the right time, it helped me a lot.
Stay strong, bud!

Feelin' ya bro
And Monumental makes you continue feeling like a badass
Didn't realize I was taking a trip through Feelstown today
Loved being a part of this song, along with all the other fans. These crowd anthems always turn out so well!
To be honest, this song has inspired me enough to write a book. I call it Godhunters and Dragonhunters, and I'm almost done with the first book. Although in my story, the titular Godhunter is male, yet this song was definitely an inspiration.
Watch the novel market folks...
Will keep an eye out; intrigued.
Sounds good, I'll be on the look out for it.
Let me know when it comes out.
Marking this so I can get updated if it comes out
tell me also please upload on kindle
I don't know much about Steven kings multiverse of books(only what my dad has told me) but this guy sounds a hell of a lot like Randall Flagg.
The lyrics are my favorite part! They're so interesting and each tells such an AMAZING story! 🤩
Aviators must be one of the greatest music out there, every song feels alive and has character. It's almost like entire worlds compacted into each song, love it!
It’s out! I had a lot of fun being part of Voices of the Crowd for the first time, and it blended so well! Really excited for the rest of the songs to be uploaded here!
Liv & Learn What’s Voices of the Crowd?
@@mr.stuffdoer8483 On Avi's server, he asks for members to submit their voices to be used as the crowd on some songs, such as Dystopian Fiction, Incandescent, and, of course, Godhunter. This was my first time doing it, and I have no idea how he took my trainwreck of a part, and made it fit.
Mr. Stuff Doer Yeah, like Shifsabre said, Avi has a group of people on his Discord that are invited to send in their own vocals for one of his songs per album, this was my first time and well worth it! :D
Liv & Learn Does he pick people randomly or something?
Mr. Stuff Doer anyone can sign up for it, and everyone that’s signed up can do it if they want to!
*Hitting thumbs-up before even listening to the song, knowing that it will be good anyways.*
I am new here so I had to listen before I could thumbs up.
Glad I listened.

This is one of your best albums so far. Solid work! It was truly an honor to be part of the crowd for this.
Nearly 2022, still the best song ever made.
is 2022 by the time i wrote this
Oh look its 2023 already see you next year
The lore behind all of your songs is amazing. And it just keeps getting better and better
I already am in love with this album, i think i've listened to it two times through already, fantastic work Aviators!
I love all the little references to your old songs, like "The Watcher" and "ascended."
"Godhunter's gonna hunt you down."
*PREDATOR MISSILE INBOUND*
I find is incredible how everyone who has listened to this has been reminded of a D&D game they played in (myself included).
This is by far your best album to date! I love EVERY track on it and none of them took me more than two listens to love! Here’s to a great 2019, and here’s to all the gods we can slay with this music!
This was soooo badass. It gives me goose bumps everytime I hear the chorus, you all are amazing.

Your skill and likeability... Ascended.

Always liked The Watcher song, felt the story was interesting. Good to see him come back bois
As per the song’s description
“The Watcher has seen the slaughter of billions across the Earth from war, and as the only god with the power to take action he strikes a deal with the last leader of humanity. If he gives his soul to this mortal, the ascended one must use its power to lead humanity to a brighter future. Of course, a deal with The Watcher should not be taken lightly...”
and all its talk about a Godsoul, he seems to be a power beyond the Ascended/whatever you want to call the ‘gods’ the Godhunter hunts (and is).
@@spenserc.4376 it implies he dies with the god in this video basically as death the grimm reaper the eternal WATCHER the person that brings people to heaven or hell if all humanity dies he dies as there no reason to farry souls that dont exist so he made a final gambit to attempt to save what was left of humanity despite his distrust of them by going to the last leader of humanity this guy and gave him his soul and power in exchange he was supposed to save the world and redeem himself from the petty tyrant he was instead he feel into arrogance and madness trying to hasten the death of all non ascended so it just be the immortal left as said in the song to late for a saviour so when the godhunter killes him death goes with him to the other side though the "god" probably goes to hell and watcher to heaven as hes is a angel despite not looking like it
That is by far my absolutely favorite of your songs! I love it to pieces!
-Greetings from Germany
I like listening to this song while playing through the Godmaster DLC in Hollow Knight.
*Feels good, man.*
Bought the album, started it up, and this song came on. Right away, I knew the purchase had totally been worth it.
I swear, every time I think I've worn an album to the bone, another rises to feed the monster.
This is the best. You're the best. I LOVE HAVING MY EXPECTATIONS EXCEEDED!
What I like the most on the art is that dude on the right, just standing there chilling during the confrontation. G-man vibes intensify.
The god looks like he is stuck to his throne
You mind if I use that baseline for a novel/short story? Been using his songs for brainstorming ideas the entire evening xD

So I wanna say thank you for writing this song!
what game tho

Love it! I’m in shock of your improvements over the years.

I love this song. And i just want to say, it was something small but means a lot to me, thanks for making the Godkiller a woman...it just puts this song so much higher on my favs list
I love this song so much because it's so complex, I'm trying to learn the lyrics but by the time I get to the end I have to re listen because the ending is so different from the beginning that I forget how it goes.
I simply ADORE this album. It's so beautiful, all of it. From beginning to end, from worst to best, it's all beautiful.
this actually inspired me to add really cool a scene to my book! Loved the song, it was great, and thanks to Aviators for being a great inspiration!
Well now that I've seen this I'm inspired. Something of the sort of killing gods might not work for the one I'm currently writing, but I've already thought about potential sequels and such.
I was just screwing around on my phone while youtube played and this song came up out of nowhere...and my head immediately shot up. I love this so much.
I'll be honest, your music is just amazing. I play this song when I invade in Dark Souls and PvP to the beat. Confuses the other person

@@the_protectorof_smols3563 In the descriptions of his songs, Aviators likes to write a backstory for the lyrics.

Awesome music yet again. For some reason with some of these songs in this setting a get a Warhammer 40k vibe, like the origin of the imperium and chaos space Marines type of feel.
Been looking forward to this one! Feels so surreal listening to a song where you're a voice in the crowd!
It is ridiculous how much I think of Medieval roleplaying games like D&D, Pathfinder, and a multitude of others. These lyrics just create a awesome villain concept and adventure story hooks.
