The "wonderful things can happen" line that Raylan "read somewhere" is actually a line from one of Elmore Leonard's novels. I think it was City Primeval: High Noon in Detroit but I am not 100 percent sure. But I know I laughed out loud when I read that line in the book.
I don't know why y'all were surprised that Fekus didn't break. Remember, Boyd tortured him and couldn't get him to break either.

Jeff Fahey, who played Ava's uncle, was in a short-lived crime drama called "The Marshal" on ABC, where he played a similar, yet not gun happy character to Raylan. It lasted two short seasons and Don Johnson ("Miami Vice", "Nash Bridges") was one of the executive producers.
Jeff Fahey was also Tyree, the hotheaded bad guy who was part of Cobb’s (Brian Dennehey) crew in Silverado. He had a history with Paden (Kevin Kline) and was fighting with Jake (Kevin Costner) over a girl. Damn is that a great movie.

I always wanted them to continue 24. They only did the first season and then stopped. I hope they have plans to go back to it eventually.
