thank you for your videos and your channel !
Love your story :))
Thank you for sharing!
Gliwice is my hometown! Have you ever been there? If not, you should, it has really changed for the better during the last 10 years.
Sure I have. Gliwice has its own unique charm 😊
I love your channel. I have to live vicariously through you. I'm a baseball guy. It paid for my college. I really hope I can get there before I die.
Teaching a language is a wonderful experience. Good for you!
What a story!
Greetings from Toronto
I love your channel and the videos you make ❤️ but the thing I appreciate the most is that I learn to appreciate and love my country from you. Thank you for it ❤️👍❤️
Jest nowy, świetny kanał o powrocie do Polski, amerykańskiej rodziny z polskimi korzeniami. To będzie hit 2022.! Nazwa: 1.Agnes 2.Agnieszka Nowak 1 i 2 to jest jedna cała nazwa.
Trzymam kciuki za przyjazdy nowych turystów i powracających z emigracji Polaków. Czas odbudować nasz kraj i zintegrować go ze Światem Anglosaskim.! Jęz. ang. powinien stać się, drugim językiem "urzędowym" w Polsce i być nauczany obowiązkowo już od szkoły podstawowej.!
Calkowicie sie z tym zgadzam, bardzo by to pomoglo mlodym ludziom .
Very interesting story and journey!
wonderful job done so far. 100 episodes and each and every is better!!!
That was the best feedback about Poland I've ever heard :).
You are just great person !
I’m trying to get there! Problem is all US embassy jobs and DoD jobs are IT related.... going to try and beat that skill curve. Oh and learn Polish 😂😂
:) Learning Polish is purely optional. You literally have no reason, you can live in multinational community, work in English, party in English and use self-check at the groceries;) Sure, being able to at least communicate in Polish opens a new World for you, but that's just a bonus,
And as native speaker you can find well paid jobs everywhere. Even if language is your only qualification! Hell, I'm applying now for a position in local office of FCA (Fiat Chrysler Automobiles), I have nothing to do with Auto Industry, they just need someone to be able to speak "American":)
@@CieplinskiPawel That's what my girlfriend tells me all the time too!
@@codyhuffman708 She probably tells you only the positive examples though. I can tell you real life one: a carpenter, without even a highschool diploma. Nothing wrong about it, right? Unless you get to teach without having a clue about pedagogy, no understanding of linguistics, no idea on how to teach, just being able to speak your mother tongue. Honestly: worse than me, no, not being cocky, have Cambridge certificate to back it up. Yet, my good buddy, or in this case my mate from UK had been teaching English for many years, having way above average teacher's salary being absolutely terrible, or how he would say himself: rubbish at it!
Hope it's not how it works nowadays, BUT: my US friends in Ukraine today are teaching English at the Universities without having any degree themselves...
KBR has a contract in Poland, if you haven’t checked them out yet
@@Kamikazekyle05 yeah I checked KBR. They only have one manager position that I might apply for. The lady is only an hour away if I can get the right location!
Thanks for telling us all these things about you. That's great that you're happy in Poland. Funny thing is that I as a Pole once dreamed of moving to Houston TX (I think it was after watching the movie Twins :) Best regards Jacek
Houston is a great city! Miss Houston sometimes 👍Thanks 👍
Hey Russell, I really liked this video.. it was a good insight into why you created the channel and its always nice to be able to connect to the youtuber in a way or two.. I'm actually moving to Slupsk soon for a year myself and I have been doing soo much research into what I can do while I'm there for the year.. and your videos have been helping me learn a lot of great things and tips of what to do or not do.. so thank you... and hey if you ever find yourself up near slupsk let me know maybe we can get together or something.
thanks Cody
Thanks, Cody. Be careful though. You just might fall in love with the country and stay permanently 😁💪. All the best to you!
My hubby & I love your channel Russell! We always look forward to your episodes!😊 If it were only possible (in our situation), I'd love to move back to Poland, and we'd do it in a heartbeat... We will try at least to visit as soon as it's possible! 🌎✈🌍
Good job! Thank you!
Great video man, I think USA can be somewhat a safety bubble, and its healthy to get outside the bubble once in a while.
Thx!
Hi from Gliwice! 😘

Oh dear, my lovely city, you've lost the opportunity to have such a great citizen....
Greetings from Gliwice. :)
Great story, thanks for sharing. Have you ever visited Gliwice ?
Sure I have. I love the mix of architecture there. I find Gliwice beautiful :)
Thank you for sharing your story! (I moved from Poland to the US)
The thing about master degree in Poland back in 90' and 00' was there was not that many uni that offer to make bachelor degree and then master. There was 1 longer bachelor and master degree combined course.
Precisely right! 😊
Część pozdrowienia z Polski 🇵🇱😀
If you ever go back to Texas ...there is lot's of Pole's too ....just to keep your new language alive, lol. Thank you for great video. By the way I study in Gliwice, my best friend is from Czestochowa and I am living in LA .......but dreaming about Poland every day since day one.
what a story! very interesting!
Great story Russ, good luck :)
Becareful Russel as usually after 10 /15 or 20/25 yrs of emigration caming some kind of crisis to back to homeland..so be brave and strong..but always listing to your heart👍
That's what I like about Americans the most...out of a blue they go somewhere and create new life for themselves and people around them. Do you know the song "Havana" ?
My heart is in Warszawa ooh na-na !!
Greetings from NYC.
God bless you well your experience in poland and every time i hear you this makes my heart fly of joy well i fall in love in this country too and frankly in God will hope i will be for life in it, thank you for your efforts and i have a request if i can say why can t you open some online classes to teach us some polish?
Wow. Bravo you👍
Interesting story... kind of reminds me of my story about leaving Brazil after two decades there and returning to the US. But that’s for another day
Thanks Russell,
I lived there during the Communist years.. You and I have a different perception of Poland.. But we both do love it. I have been there since the transition And I have seen a big flourishing of the attitudes and the outlook of the people there. When I was there it was rather grey and dim. But now it's colorful and uplifting. Pyrsk!
And I left Poland because the Communist and "sciany maja uszy : life style was not what I wanted. USA is my adopted country and I LOVE it since the day I arrived . When I went to visit Poland few years ago I just could not see myself living there- I missed EVERYTHING about my great USA. So as the saying goes your home is where you feel at home . Mine is USA !!! However to each its own . Very best to all wherever you are . Be happy and enjoy your life !
@@elizabethloren-broz2680 I haven't heard that phrase in about 35 years. Naprawdę, były uszy i oczy itp
