I know disney messed up the last jedi and solo was a box office failure but I still believe that disney is capable of making good star wars movies I mean just look at rogue one and the force awakens how well they did and were received. I remember when the force awakens came out it was hard to even find a negative review. Eventually it started to catch criticism for being too similiar to a new hope, whatever it was still a good movie. I think the rise of Skywalker will bring everything full circle and alot of the fans that were lost because of the last jedi will return as a fan again at least I hope anyway. I wasn't very fond of the last jedi myself or solo but I'm still gonna give this a chance because it really could be good.

Guys, I think I figured it out...
Luke wanted the Jedi and their flaws to end...to be more gray area, but Luke won't be rising, and Rey won't be revealed as a blood-related Skywalker, instead, Jedis will no longer be known as Jedis, moving forward, they will be known as "Skywalkers." And The Rise of Skywalker is Rey...grafting herself in as Rey Skywalker, first of the new order. Laaaame. A fakeout by fucking us out of Luke again.
I would love it to be Luke coming out of the Force after disappearing in 8 to heal and reconnect, but that's too good to happen.
Well luckily we have JJ Abrams back but yeah you're right about the last Jedi even Mark Hamill said he didn't like the storyline

Maybe Rey is a clone of a Skywalker. Maybe there are clones everywhere. Like this is the big finale so why not bring everyone back in some way.
Who's the " Rise of Skywalker" about? Is it Kylo, Rey, Luke, Leia...? Personally, I think it's the boy with the broom at the end of The Last Jedi.
Last Jedi was an absolute classic. Excellent film.

Just because you don’t understand the lore doesn’t mean it fucked up the lore. You just don’t understand it. I can see hating a movie you dont get but that doesn’t mean they made wrong decisions.
You are so right! Too many people ignore how horribly the new trilogy films have ruined the lore of Star Wars. Didn't see TFA and won't see this either just for that reason.
Truly anyone that’s actually excited to watch this is the reason why we keep getting shit reboots and remakes..
They work off nostalgia and conformity of popularity..there’s no creative originality and or artistic freedom in it at all..they are made by business men
to strait up sucker morons out of money.
They don’t even have to try to deliver instead of artistic films we get regurgitated hollow remakes.
The same movies over and over and over every time they get worse and worse people just get dumber Hollywood is pounding it into the ground.
They basically just make giant commercials advertising and pushing the next batch of shit they are about to copy and paste for you.
The only brilliance of them all is the marketing oh and the over use of cgi of course...really the only two things that make it sell..
These giant movies are made for the majority of the world..fools and slaves.
They're using less cgi in these films than they did in the prequels. JJ consulted Lucas on this film too. Movie studios are in the business to make money. It's a business. Profits matter.
