The game was originally a mini turn based game made by a Chinese individual game developer, it was set in a world filled with a combination of steam punk, and kongfu. The story was quite sad, and generally atmosphere was pretty depressing, in short, it was a story about two adopted brothers murder each other because of ambition, power, betrayal, and the love for a woman.
So nearly every wuxia show? ... I'm down! I love that stuff
@@lordvalinar774 mmm，a bit different, there are definitely a lot of innovation in the setting. A lot of very advanced technology and machinery, even stuff close to magic within the story. You can almost call it a cyberpunk+wuxia+witcher kinda setting. But the author surely made sure those elements mixed well.

Phantom Blade 0 gave me that old school Hong Kong Wuxia movies vibes and I'm all up for it's over-the-topness
I am so hype to see more of this game as it give off a mashup of “Ghost of Tsushima” x “Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance” by the amount of action and setting. 😄 I hope the story and soundtrack be legendary to listen to.

Its giving me Sekiro, Ghost of Tsushima and Metal Gear Rising Revengeance vibes.

Not many protagonists wear their sword on the back waist. Good to see 👌
The game gave me a "Ghost of Tsushima" merged with "Lone Wolf and Cub" comic vibes. That is if Daigoro was ever kidnapped and it was just Ogami on a path of vengeance and recovery of his only surviving child. I would freaking LOVE if in the game they drop those names (even if it's not the names of the main character and his child) just for the geek out factor.

In most cases regarding video games, I usually lean towards realistic, authentic depictions of historical or contemporary settings, as apposed to fictional societies involving magic or futuristic science. Judging by the horses, wagons and medieval or ancient Asian warfare seen in this trailer, Phantom Blade 0 will be right up my alley.
This was originally supposed to be a turn based opera wuxia game, but apparently the company that bought it wanted to go big in the western market. The plot is still the same, two sword bothers go on opposite life paths; one of them successful in karmic deeds and one of them successful in worldly endeavors and both of them unable to reconcile the other's journey... and woman in the middle.
The brother you play as has been poisoned with a venom by the other brother that has no antidote and kills in two months.
This was one of the only games at that Sony presentation that was interesting. This game looks like if Ghost of Tsushima had a kid with Dark Souls.

those who watch this new game trailer are completely missing the point completely missing everything. remember we people are capable of fast reaction. its not like any other game dev couldnt do its just they know the human limitations. if the combat move this fast trust me you wouldnt be able to play this game the way the trailer showd you. im 100% sure this the fighting is real in the trailer but however. its a bot combat. its self aware what the enemy is going to do next going to swing up or down left or right. do you think people going to know what the enemy do next or swing which way next? no human could predict this so ofc you wont be playing like the trailer showd you. people wanted to play this game and be cool like the trailer??? what a joke. its not gonna happen. AGAIN people are slow we arent fast in reacting to pretty much anything. if the enemy attack fast as it showd here and swinging from every direction. you wouldnt be able to fast the first level of the game heck probably wouldnt pass the second to 3rd enemy you get own. now do me a favor and go fight one guy or 2 guys and see if my lesson thought you what im saying. unless the enemy in this new game attack at the same order over and over as you died many time so ofc you'll know you'll you'll remember. if the enemy attacl using the same pattern so ofc we can.. im sorry to break everyone hype but you wont be playing like the trailer showd you. you got to have the speed of a flash man and the eyes of the flash man and the speed finger of the flash man to pull this off like in the trailer. but AGAIN. no we cant none of of can. i know looking at the trailer you want to be as cool as good like in the trailer but. you wont. you just cant no matter what. if you go out side in the real world and fight 2-3 enemy whos speed 3x faster then you. you be dead and not knowing what they will do next. its a cool trailer but when i think about it. can i pull this off can i play like the trailer? so i said to my selfs thats impossible
