No, it's not 4th gen. This, is what sets NMIXX apart. Their music can be extremely niche but their talent and technique is what sets them apart not just from the 4th gen but from all of kpop.

XG: but they aren't kpop and a few of them haven't shown a lot of singing (better rap tho the dance level is similar)
Young posse:rap and dance are insane but they lack singing material

@@nicolasmagalhaeslussim2711 saying any group is the best group is always subjective no matter what you can give all of your reasoning, but all of the reasoning is based on your opinion I think that nmixx is a great group recalling your opinion subjective just because you think you’re right is weird. They have amazing talent in all categories, but there are some well seasoned other K-pop groups that are definitely more improved then they are that doesn’t mean that they aren’t good. But some groups like BTS are definitely more advanced than they are objectively because they’ve been doing this so long. Now they are probably one of the best 4th gen groups for live singing. Nobody can deny that but just saying talent and skill all around is false.
They can all sing and dance incredibly well, but that in itself is talent. They also have amazing vocal skill but if you compare them in the dance category to other K-pop groups, they’re not going to rank at the top of course they get good at dance.
They’re from JYP and they have amazing choreography, but compared to other dancers. They’re definitely not top-tier. The two other groups that you compared are good but they’re also new groups which means that older K-pop idols are definitely going to rank higher in skill because they’ve had more time to work on it. Please do not say that these groups are the best in K-pop because you’re setting them up for people to make fun of them.
In this generation, NMIXX is the only group where all members can sing, dance, and rap perfectly live. They have always proven it.

you'd be surprised on how NMIXX is separated from the rest of the current groups. this isn't a 4th gen thing. most 4th gen can't save their lives with live vocals.
every single performance NMIXX delivers quality dances and live vocals. every. single. time. There's not a lot of group who does it like NMIXX.
covers, it's live performances, karaoke where they just jam out and have fun. You won't regret discovering them more.

The group name NMIXX stands for N is Now, New, Next and Unknown (it can also be a ‘N’umber 1-0 or like a binary code which is like infinite or loop. Basically this words (Now, New, Next and Unknown) is a new wave of sounds/music which is called “MIXXPOP” which stand also for their group name nMIXX, now mix-pop is a kind of concept that mixxing 2 or more genre in one song or like a mashup just like this one (thats why you heard them say “change up”) they also have 2 previous songs just like this one, title O.O and DICE. But they also have a typical song or like a normal song called Love Me Like This, Party O’clock, Roller Coaster and some of their b-sides also this group is known for not having a signature genre unlike other groups which mean every comeback they can pull any kind of genre, thats why on their debut song O.O they showed 2 sections in the MV which is a darker concept and cute concept which mean their debut showed what NMIXX capable of showing variety/music.
They also has a lore or story every comeback it’s called MIXXTOPIA (its like a mystery puzzle with a mix of science, but some fans called it “Rocket Science” bcoz some says that their lore is something that is very difficult to learn or understand) it also some what connected to the meaning of their group name which i had mention first.
Their fandom name is called NSWER which stands for
North, South, West, East and Route.. if you connevt the dots it also connected to the meaning of the group, also i mention that their group name is some what connected to infinity or looping which is a binary code that can be seen like in the local network or internet which means they will come for you or connect to you whenever or wherever weather you’re from North, South, West, East they’ll take any Route to connect with you… thats NSWER, it also sounds like ANSWER which is us fans job is to help them answer the mystery that they need to solve thru MIXXTOPIA.

Choi YunJin (Jini) - Former member - she departed from the group due to personal reasons and got debuted again this year as a soloist.
Anyways, as you notice that each member has all the positions, bcos JYPE introduces this group as an ALL ROUNDER GIRL GROUP meaning each member don’t have specific position bcos all of them can do vocal, rapping, dancing and has a good sp ( a positionless group)
Also, they’re known to be one of the best Vocal Group in Kpop and alot of kpop fans recognize them as the MOST Vocally strong group in 4th gen for being the most STABLE on stages while singing live on a hard choreography, and yes your right they’re known for always singing LIVE on music shows and award shows.

O.O and DIce are their best mixxpop songs that showcases their overall talent! They also have an unreleased track called Run For Roses, only performed during the event! Sonar means to dream in spanish and this song goes back to their debut roots!

In Jyp a stage practice means they are singing live, Nmixx has a stage pratice for alot of their songs. Itzy has a few too
NMIXX is a group that is famous for singing live wherever they are, it's better for you to see their practice stages and their concerts.

Also, you should check their Aju Nice, Kill this love, Hey Mama, Thunderous covers etc.. Take note, every time they perform, they always sing live. Their MAMA's 2022 performance, they passed highnotes to each other which makes it iconic.

저는 43살 아저씨인 한국 사람으로 1세대 아이돌부터 지금 4세대까지 모든 보이그룹 걸그룹을 지켜봐왔지만 엔믹스가 단연 최고의 그룹이라고 말씀드릴수 있습니다.
그 이유는 대부분의 그룹에서는 보컬 또는 댄스 또는 보컬과 댄스의 혼합적인 부분에서 항상 구멍이라고 불리우는 멤버가 존재했습니다. 그런데 엔믹스는 저 모든 부분에서 단하나의 단점도 찾을수 없습니다.
다른 그룹들도 격한 안무와 라이브를 할수는 있지만 거의 대부분 AR에 의존하고 있는게 KPOP의 현재 실태이기 때문에 격한 안무와 라이브를 동시에 하면서 저런 퀄리티가 나올수 있는 그룹은 엔믹스가 유일하다라고 감히 말씀드릴수 있습니다.
다른 댓글중 엔믹스의 노래 안무연습 영상을 추천하고 있는데 몇개의 영상을 찾아보시고 멤버들 개개인의 실력을 보신다면 제가 말하는 의미를 충분히 알거라고 확신합니다.

Hi guys, thanks for the reaction, The word ‘soñar’, when written with the diacritical mark over the ‘n’ becoming ‘ñ’, is an actual letter in Spanish and it means ‘to dream’ in Spanish. Lol.
And without the ñ “Sonar” it means “to sound”

It's really not a 4th gen thing, nowadays the trend is to have dance ability and stage practice as top priorities, because even some 'live' performances or videos are highly edited and fans don't really care (plus the fact that tiktok is so important now). So NMIXX being a vocal group is totally agaisnt the 4th gen norm, and it might not be as good as it once was for marketing, but it creates amazing performances and experiences for the fans. They are just different and it's amazing to see lol
As many already commented this is not a 4th Gen thing, neither it is a Kpop thing, it's an Nmixx thing.

correction its not what sets 4th gen apart more like its what NMIXX sets apart from all the groups. I’ve been a kpop fan for almost 10yrs and what I notice in 4th gen is most of them lip sync during live performances which defeats the purpose of LIVE performance. I've been in their concert they are really talented. They are really an amazing performers.
You should also react to their It's Live.. especially Party O'Clock because this is the best it's live performance they did.. Liily, Haewon and Sullyoon already guest in Lee Mujin Service. They are all rounder.

Soñar means "dream" in Spanish. In this song, (Come to dream is the translation of the chorus) they're inviting you to dream hence the lyrics.
Also I would say that this is what sets NMIXX apart from the rest. They're the only ones (aside from ITZY during Not Shy era) who do live vocals during stage practice videos. And their choreographies are harder than most.

ok so ik im late but the girl who did the high note was lily, the girl who did the first part of the rap was kyujin second girl in the rap was jiwoo, the girl who sings the seocnd verse in the beginning is bae and att 7:36 the girl in black in the back is sullyoon and the one at the right of the girl in the middle is haewon

NMIXX is 6 all-rounder girls and you need to know that probably all of them can be main vocal or main dancers in another group. ohohho
This isn’t just 4th gen. As far as I know NMIXX is allergic to not singing live. There probably one of the only girl groups who can sing live and dance difficult choreography at the same time.
You know very well. It's almost impossible to have such stable vocals while dancing like that. The dance is very intense. It is easiest to understand if you set the treadmill to 14 km/h and sing.

So? Does being a "prelease" mean it's not supposed to be as good, or that they somehow are to be expected to put less effort into it? FUN FACT> Groups NEVER know what song is going to be a pre-release or a title track. Those are chosen after they are recorded and through a blind selection by staff at JYPE.

Nope, This is NOT a 4th gen thing, every other group rn (except like Kiss of Life who is 5th gen not 4th gen and maybe XG but they're not even Kpop) is lip syncing their ass off and these companies are not training them and instead are just debuting influencers and visuals now who literally cannot sing or if they can, they're not on this level, not stable or consistent and never sing live. NO ONE else can do this this. This is what sets Nmixx apart from not just 4th gen but the rest of the industry as a whole.
This is not accurate. It's toxic fan crap whereas your favorite is the only "real" group. There are plenty of other groups in all generations that are as good or better at live stages than NMIXX as a fan of NMIXX (Nswer) who has attended every single stage that fans could attend in Korea, they are improving in their stage presence, but they have a long way to go, a VERY long way to go, to catch up to their JYPE peers. ITZY sings live at music shows and events far more often than NMIXX that is just a fact. I am sorry if that hurts your feelings. Who has better vocals is subjective honestly and according to personal taste. But you absolutely can't sit there and claim they are better and in the same breath accuse all other groups of lip syncing.
