I'm currently at the beginning of the fifth book of the End of Times pentalogy and I fail to understand why all the hate for End of Times.
I mean, there is one thing that I understand and I agree wery much with it in most cases: too many characters have shitty completely non-epic end and death, sometimes even "off-screen" and that's enraging.
But apart from that specific case, I'm not sure I quite understand the hate for End of Times. Although, maybe, having only read the original 5 books I lack information and fail to see something.
If someone would be willing to expand on why they hate end of times, I would be most grateful, I'd like to know more about why it is so unpopular.

Finubar is the most pathetic character in the game. So pathetic he's not even playable character unlike virtually all other kings. Tyrion does everything for him, including shagging his wife (that's literally canon btw)

I kinda like that aspect of Warhammer Fantasy. Non human races aren't just weird looking humans, they are actually their own species with ways of thinking that are almost completely alien to us, even if they aren't hostile and co-operation is entirely possible, there are some areas where we aren't going to be able to understand each other, respect maybe, seeing eye to eye not so much.

I don't know, after all the games I've seen, Alarielle is usually the abuser in that relationship, especially once she claimed the Sword of Khaine.
I honestly don't know wtf people are talking about. In every single game I've ever played they're defensive allies by turn 10.

Men
Franz get whooped by Mannfred, Gelt get harrased by Vlad and constantly losing fort Soll and can't normally annex Steingart. Alberic is mostly dying because of Red Duke and because of that shitty ork infestation public order damage.
Wulfhart is expanding rapidly although he lost his capital to lizards because of being too aggressive.
Wood Elves
Orion going full blown rampage on Bretonia (especially Paravon and Bostonne getting rekt)
Norsca
Wulfrik and Throgg literally doing Blitzkrieg who will faster confederate all norscans
Dark Elves
Malek is going south of Naggaroth and have decent success although one time the future Phoenix King lost fookin NAGGAROND to homeless beastmen.
Morie is suffering from 2 front war. Tiranoc and Eataine constantly killing her.
Darkblade chilling in his isles and trying to exterminate Snikch
Fellheart bickering with Teclis and one time Krakenlord dared to attack Luthor Harkon and failed (he captured one city and quickly lost because corruption)
Hellebron is either gone dead by Malekith or captured Ghrond and just chilling.
High Elves
Tyrion is either in conflict with Saphery or with Ellyrion
Allarielle can't even capture Avelorn and get to that sword.
Eltharion is fookin losing to durn gobbos
Imrik is doing deceant expansion In the badlands.
Anar is or barely trying to survive or wiping out dreadlords and going deeper to Naggaroth only to get whooped by Morathi from backside.

I think the only people that the Advisor will compliment are Vladdy and Isabella. True, Vlad isn't much to look at most of the time... But he's oddly cordial with everybody that's cordial with him, has good manners even when upset, and is truly a Chad in the End Times. Despite how terrible those books are, they gave Vladdy Daddy the Chaddy some serious props.
pretty much .he also is willing to let isabella take power and serve as a hero and himself is powerful on the battlefield. the only jabs i could see is classic vampire count jabs
I fookin hate Vlad when I am playing as Gelt. MOFOKER constantly harassing me by raiding even If I have full stack but no the senile von Carstein will raid and pillage until my patience will run to 0 and I will gone berserker and kill him with his pathetic wife at Schwarzhafen and gain closer to Mannfreds Drakenhof Castle.

I hope when Advisor is going to roast Allarielle, he would mention how 9 times out of 10 she grabs Sword of Khaine and just goes on rampage. Maybe that's the reason why Tyrion declared war on her so many times.

Oh when he captures Har Ganeth and go tier 5 he will have executioners and then count Ulthuans survival because of stacks of black guard, executioners, hydras and cohorts of Corsairs and witch girls going right to Malekiths homeland Nagarythe and will capture the shrine in 2 turns.
In my experience, Morathi solos the elven donut on her own while malekith gets killed off by something else.
Then Malekith Confederate his mom to stay alive and loses all her gains in 30 turns.

Tyrion is honestly quite upsetting! I love to play Alarielle but confedering Tyrion can be really hard. If i don't watch it, he became quickly too powerful and expanded to be absorbed, especially since, for some reasons, in most of my playthrough, the DE are incapables to resist him and get easily conquered.

Alberic start is fookin NIGHTMARE. You need to capture Red Duke and have Ork problem for 20 turns and public order debuff. And you have a dilemma or you trying to kill the Red Duke at Mousillon or attack ork camp nearby to get rid of debuff but risking to lose Bordeleaux.
