I have most of these in my Roth IRA in Schwab account
Thank you! I'm a high schooler and this is so helpful for the future!
I have invested in four Schwab mutual funds SWPPX, SNXFX, SFLNX, AND SWOBX. Is this a bad strategy? The only one lagging a bit is SWOBX. Overall my portfolio is doing fine, but it is carried by SWPPX performance. I’m 64, retiring next year, but do not need the portfolio for retirement income. I will have multiple pensions in addition to social security. Thanks in advance. Cheers
If they fit your risk tolerance it’s not a bad strategy in my opinion. It is awesome that you have those pensions!
@@mastermoneyco thanks for the quick reply. These funds are in a Roth IRA and as said earlier I have no plans to touch it in the near future, will just continue to contribute. Yes, I’m very fortunate to have the life time pensions for stability. Thanks gain. Cheers
Great video Andrew. Schwab is one of my brokerages so I'm going to get most of these there.
Considering that ETF's usually charge lower operating fees are there any Schwab index ETF's that perform as well as the funds mentioned above, thanks.
these funds always most of the time charge lower fees than vanguard or s&P
SWAGX or SWRSX?
Big ups to everyone working effortlessly trying to earn a living while building wealth. I’m 63 and my husband 65 we are both retired with over $3 million in net worth and no debts. Currently living smart and frugal with our money. Saving and investing lifestyle made it possible for us this early even till now we earn monthly through passive income.
Nice one .Any investment tip?. I would love to know how you made it this far
Alright so generally, investing requires higher knowledge. For this reason, It's important to have a solid support structure (financial consultant) to guide you through especially in asset picking. I operate with REGINA LOUISE COLLARO an investment advisor who partners with a licensed wealth management firm. For the record, the experience has been the best for my finance. She is quite popular for her services so you might have heard of her.
She made me financially stable investing through her help, now I earn on a monthly basis through her passive income strategy...So I’ll advise you do get a good Investment advisor for yourself.
Impressive Stephanie! Your investment advisor seems quite skilled. I've come across success stories of individuals enhancing their financial stability through advisors. Could you provide further details about this individual?
@skoopqueen she is easy to find , make a quick research of her on the internet with her name Regina Louise Collaro and leave her a message .She works with anyone independent of their location.
@@stephaniefythmI am one of many people who has benefited from investing with Regina Louise Collaro, and you are right. When I lost my work due to COVID in 2020, I had no reason to live, and it will always be a memorable year in my life. I owe Regina my life since she made it feasible for me to live well through passive income. To be very honest, I believe she is an angel who was sent to assist individuals who are through financial hardship.
Very good video but I have a question, if I choose to reinvest the dividends and capital, would this mean that I would not pay taxes until I want to leave the index? Or how often are they paid and declared? thank you
Taxes still have to be paid for reinvested dividends while in the fund.
Is contributing to Index funds limited (such as Roth IRA contributions yearly) and does contributing to Index Funds affect how much I’m allowed to contribute to IRA & Roth IRA yearly?
Sry…my knowledge base is low for investing and totally new to IFs.
no unless you are buying index funds inside your ira accounts
Great informative video thank you
Thank you for this. Would these be good to chose for custodial accounts for children as well? Ages 8 &12
Really good question….i don’t see a reply. I have a young child also….have you found an answer to this? Happy New Year👍
Give em what I owe repaired keep going
If you poor and want your Rich step 1 and step 2 and so on way back to Rich is ?
I gotta Ride to the core
Good video! One small critique, Charles Schwab index mutual funds are not new for the most part. SNXFX, SWPPX, and SWTSX have been around since the mid 90s (Nearly 30 years). SWLGX and SWAGX are relatively new. Most of their ETFs have been around since 2010.
They left me with a warehouse
I'm 54 and my wife and I are VERY worried about our future, gas and food prices rising daily. We have had our savings dwindle with the cost of living into the stratosphere, and we are finding it impossible to replace them. We can get by, but can't seem to get ahead. My condolences to anyone retiring in this crisis, 30 years nonstop just for a crooked system to take all you worked for.
@AustinWalker67 That's actually quite impressive, I could use some Info on your FA, I am looking to make a change on my finances this year as well
@AustinWalker67 I will give this a look, thanks a bunch for sharing.
Sorry to hear about your situation. The only remedy is to lower your standards of living. Don't pull money from retirement savings. Set aside emergency savings amount for out of ordinary expenses like down water heater or other home expenses. Don't buy on credit unless it's necessary. Build a budget plan and live by it. Good luck.
Enjoyed the video, but IMHO, this is a crazy point in time to be in equities. I'll take 5% Tbills all day long for the time being.
Sure, if you're younger than I am and you have a very long time horizon, you'll probably be ok in equities, but even in that case, do you really want to take enormous risks?
50% drop means you need 100% gains just to break even.
It sounds like you are investing the right way for your risk tolerance which is fantastic. I’m willing to ride the wave long term and take the ups and downs.
Moral of the story , always vanguard your money 💰
I love Vanguard.
New investor here. If anyone can chime in and give insight that would be amazing. I’m 22 years old and I’m just starting out investing, is it ideal to invest into an S&P 500 as well as a total market fund or should I just go all in with one or the other?
Don’t have all your eggs in one basket, it’s good to have others to rely on
Why old you need help digitally
Thanks for your podcasts!!! My wife and I are both nurses. We never could seem to get ahead even though we make pretty good money. We just discovered you this year and have already learned so much!! Thanks for your awesome informative content!
I am so glad you are enjoying the show!
Please slow down your talking speed. That would really help. Thanks
Go to settings, playback speed, and set to .75.
Thanks so much , really been motivating avid podcast listener and you give practical advice
I’m glad you are enjoying it!
with etfs. do you have to activley be selling to make profit? or do you continue adding and in the long run it increases in profit? only asking because looking at the 10-20yr chart some havent moved much. thanks
I never sell. I hold for the long term personally.
@@mastermoneyco Thanks!
Great video and very informative. Thanks👍
Thanks! 🙌
