42:30 the game indicates turrets as red/non-functional when they're out of ammo, not only when they're destroyed. On the ship schematic you can see that the stern turrets on the Duquesne were undamaged.
Picked UAD up recently after toying with the idea for a few months. I love the building side of it, but I find the battles to be very arcadey. Not a bad thing, I just would have thought it would be a little more like Age of Sail. I love Cold Waters, but been toying with Dangerous Waters recently as I want a more realistic experience. Feel the same with UAD.
41:20 I mean... the issue here is that your rounds *do* go straight through the ship. So clean through they don't even have a chance to detonate inside. That's what all the "overpen" pop-ups are

If you noticed your error earlier in the match with your torpedoes, wouldnt you still be valid if you choose "They might be what I had planned to use as the main damage dealer, but I do need to keep those DDs away and dont have them to launch torpedoes. The tanks it is"
Though if the shell penetrates past one side and explodes on the other side of the citadel without exiting into over penetration, the ammo stores on that side will go off.
I read the comments and I’m not sure who fought against the (USS) Heart Attack, could someone tell me who to (or where to) go to see the person that fought against it?
If this thing existed in real life it would render almost every ship practically useless except maybe aircraft carriers and ships with missiles and ad missiles and anti missile defense this thing would be unstoppable.
Is there any way I can fix mines because it won’t load when I launch it I was able to play only twice does it need multiplayer as well because I didn’t get the multiplayer so I only have the game n not both…😭🙏🏼
I have 100 CA and nothing ells and is killing all the other ships . 1 battle was 10 vs 23 they had 4 bbs and alto of cl and dds They lost all 23 ships i lost 1 ca to be fair it is only 1906

26:17 it was a weight saving choice to go with standard bulkheads in order to keep the same level of speed/guns/main-belt armour.

if you dont like the feel of UAD you can try out the mod "Naval arms race" for it

Maybe instead of having only 1.1s have 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, 1.4... so you dont lose ammo as fast.

might have been better to smother it with 3 or 4 inch guns. presumably you could armour those, even if only a little.
