Our local shop in Mesa Az charge 270.00 for this. Yikes I buy kit and fluid for 90.00 and after watching this I gonna try do it on my 2007 Chevy silverado with 4L60E
4:55 Just a little insight, squeeze the plastic tabs locking the shift cable onto the bracket. Then you can just slide it out and gain clearance that way. Thank me later❤
@@JesusGuerrero-fe3du i see. well i did this just as a regular maintenance. AND to prevent any further failure like over heating transmission fluid. But depending on what you use your tahoe for. the more towing you do, you better make sure you have an external transmission cooler in front of your radiator. at the same time, your fluid life will be minimize.

Very nice. Thank you. Love that
So did you replace fluid because it was overheating? Or was this just regular maintenance for the chevy tahoe?
Dose Tahoe 2009 came on 6 speed or 4
Both. If your transmission number starts with 4. Like 4L60. Thats a 4 speed. If it starts with 6 like 6L50. Thats 6 speed.
What if ya did bend that bracket?? What would happen if it wasnt alined right?
Just bend it back to how it was. But i dont recommend it.
My 08 chevy tahoe started showing a message that says transmission oil hot idle engine thats why i ask?
