Hello mama & papa Rug, in my country we often make meals in the ground. You are not far away for your hamburger, you simply have to leave your meat in the aluminum dish which will be placed on the grid. To turn the meat, you need a second aluminium dish that you put on top and with kitchen gloves, you take your two dishes that you interchanged aside. And here is your meat will be cooked. Don't forget to put the lid on as you do it. Friendship and good appetite !
This video was so stressful! Fire has to have air. You can have an underground fire, but the fire has to be lifted up. Putting the lid on was smothering the fire. When cooking underground or above ground & using coals & wood, you have to let it cook down. When you cook underground, you should be cooking on coals that you've been tending to all day, not big hunks of wood. Brandon is lucky nobody got hurt. When you use lighter fluid, it has to burn off otherwise the food will taste like lighter fluid. Once the food is on the grill, you don't put more lighter fluid on. This was just a stressful video to watch, especially with the number of young viewers they have.
